  1. This isn't even about rooting against BvS. It's just directed at the people who explicitly are asking Snyder be fired from JL/JL getting delayed. That's it.
  2. Cause generally CAL we deal with movies that are already done or people don't root against movies that are 2 weeks away from shooting. If JL was like a year away from beginning shooting, Tele wouldn't be saying anything.
  3. That's a great post except you made it on Box Office Theory which is pretty much built around discussing the box office yields of movies-aka the finances.
  4. No one is saying it's immoral. But you are right, I don't like rooting against people. That's why you don't see me rooting against films, even ones I don't like, pretty much ever.
  5. Rival sports teams generally don't fire lower level employees due to bad performance? As for political candidates, well I think the stakes are a little higher there than entertainment.
  6. There's a difference between supporting a movie and then actively rooting for people to lose their jobs. For instance, a lot of people worked on Meet the Blacks. I'm not going to see it. I didn't like BvS. I'm not rooting for the JL production to be delayed so that WB can fire Snyder.
  7. Huh? When has 20th Century Fox ever screwed Joss Whedon over? Is he like not getting royalty checks from them for Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
  8. Godzilla actually had a pretty similar reception (many like me loved it, many hated it) although in Godzilla's case, misleading marketing was part of the problem. The Godzilla movie is also establishing a cinematic universe. It's budget was lower, that's for sure, but about $90 million.
  9. Sure. It went up from 0.01% to 0.02%. If Legendary/WB haven't fired Gareth Edwards after Godzilla, why would WB drop Snyder?
  10. Could have been tightened up a bit more for me. Didn't really like the main character that was much, she got on my nerves for some reason. B
  11. Huh. I played $46.48 million in the derby for BvS. Would be funny if I got that right. (I also think I overpredicted God is not Dead 2 with $6.56 million and Meet the Blacks with $5.43 million.)
  12. Brilliant thriller that is exciting from beginning to end. Sure, it answers very little questions and most of the questions it does answer come with more questions, but it works in Midnight Special because 1) you can understand the plot and 2) you can understand the characters and their motivations by the end. Man, even that final shot raised a whole bunch of questions. Finally a movie that doesn't explain everything to you...done right. I know it would ruin it but if they could do a sequel, I'd be interested. A-
  13. If it aired on other networks, there is no reason to believe that Smallville would have gotten the same ratings. It likely would have done better thanks to the increased exposure. It wasn't the only show at the time to get "acceptable" ratings though. But yes it did last 10 seasons because it was a success. Just because it was on WB/CW doesn't negate the success.
  14. God's Not Dead 3: where Christians defend themselves from the secular humanist conspiracy at the Hague court. Finally they'll bring the most powerful Democrat ever down for violating human rights all while proving that God is not dead. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  15. Not every WB/CW show lasts 10 seasons. Most don't. And Smallville was before the Netflix deal which is why the CW renews everything now. Finally, Smallville had record breaking ratings on the WB and got good ratings on the CW.
  16. I had another recording session for the #Indiegogo video today! https://t.co/qw4HBJSRJL;
