    It just did not catch on whatsoever at my work.On sunday, Avengers did, in it's 3.30pm session, more than Prometheus had done all day (about 6 sessions prior to 3.30pm)

    Avengers for some reason has been extremely busy this weekend.We've got three sessions a day and it's been half full for two and three quarters for the other... WTF?! The movies been out for SEVEN WEEKS!!!!

    I'm thinking around $30-$35m for TDKR - Australia, moreso than any other country in the world, was boosted insanely by Ledgers death and nobody can deny it.

    So my dream about Monday numbers didn't eventuate, but the numbers for SW and TA for Tuesday are just plain creepy.

    I never said anything about changing it.I simply said that it doesn't make sense to have a holiday for something that's not even happening.You mentioned changing it to which I simply pointed out that I wouldn't hurt to change it.However, since RTH has informed us that it's been in since the 1800s and simply isn't "Queens" birthday long weekend, changing would in fact be pointless.

    If Spider-Man was such a huge crowdpleaser, how did SM2 OS gross DECREASE from SM1?I just dont see it being big at the levels some people here are talking.

    Lets say she kicked the bucket this year - its not going to hurt to change the holiday that has stood for 60 years - most laws change more often than that.

    Like I said, its losing $20-30m from AU/UK - SM2 didnt have the death of a major Australian actor to lift it up.

    Why does this keep going UP? Its not making a dime over $600m OS.Its going to lose $20-30m on TDK from Australia & UK.$570m OS tops.And if it does make over $700m OS, Totem, you have my sig and username at your disposal for a month.

    And as someone has said before, yet another Superhero film underperforms in Australia Its just weird seeing "$56m" and "underperforms" - but its true, I guess.
