  1. HALLELUJAH THIS IS ON THE LIST Zach Snyder having three movies on this list totally makes up for the atrocity of some of the earlier picks.
  2. I'm enjoying the fact that Frozen and Catching Fire are still having loads of sellouts a month after release.
  3. Well at least one of those atrocities that my gf and sister made me sit through made the list. (If only I could have been single then instead of now, then i'd be being forced to see the Hunger Games movies instead which are actually good)
  4. Most of this list is a mixed bag, there were 3 great ones early on, and Batman Returns wasn't great but not even one of the worst in the year it came out. I was hoping if any contrarian choice would be on the list it'd be Birth of a Nation for being a racist, KKK propaganda piece of shit.
  5. Inside Llewyn Davis Crowd: About 80% full at a 4:25 showing Trailers: The Invisible Woman - No reaction The Past - No Reaction August: Osage County - Got a bit of murmuring, and heard a lady said she wanted to see it. Her - No Reaction The audience was very into the movie, there was lots of laughter, and when I walked out I heard a lot of people talking about loving it. (Keep in mind this was at an arthouse cinema and was the only one in the area playing the movie, so this is not a GA reaction, this was mostly Coen Bros fans and cinephiles) My personal review is here http://thepandaflicksreviews.blogspot.com/2013/12/inside-llewyn-davis-review.html Great flick, and one of the four films that I have given a 10/10 to this year.
  6. Yes, hopefully there are more Snyder films to come (at least two more deserve to be on here).
  7. Also, i'll bet 50 points Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones is the lowest grossing film in the franchise and has the smallest opening 50 points Frozen over takes Smaug in daily grosses at least by New Years 50 points Frozen is number 1 this weekend 50 points The Nut Job grosses less than Free Birds 50 points Ride Along is the highest grossing (non-carry over) movie in January 50 points American Hustle ends up grossing more domestic total than Anchorman 2 50 points American Hustle ends up grossing more domestic total than The Wolf of Wall Street
  8. Is it fair to do the Inside Llewyn Davis pay out yet when it doesn't go wide until January?
  9. Meh, I may just be biased because I saw it after I saw Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.
  10. YES, THAT BELONGS ON HERE 100%, THAT MOVIE IS A SHITBAG THAT MADE THE CHILD INSIDE OF ME CRY TEARS OF PAIN FOR WHAT THEY DID TO MY BELOVED DR. SEUSS BOOK.
  11. Batman Returns isn't great, but not a worst of all time by any means.
  12. "Joel and Ethan are able to take the character Llewyn, make an artistic statement about his life, while still making an enjoyable experience that is devoid of pretension." Read more at http://thepandaflicksreviews.blogspot.com/2013/12/inside-llewyn-davis-review.html
  13. It's the worst that people have seen though, and I rank a movie much more poorly if it's horrible and made me think it'd be good (Man of Steel, The Hobbit) than if it's horrible but I went in knowing it'd probably be terrible.
  14. Yeah, plus it was making less to the begin with so there was much more room to increase. I'm much more impressed with Frozen's 33% increase and WWD's 65% increase.
  15. Wow, Wolf lost number 1 by one point, I really wanted to have a non-blockbuster be number 1 and Wolf was the best shot. 1.Inside Llewyn Davis 2.The Wind Rises 3.The Monuments Men 4.The Fault in Our Stars 5.Her 6.The Grand Budapest Hotel 7.Foxcatcher 8.Godzilla 9.Million Dollar Arm 10.Big Hero 6
  16. Shrek the Third is a decent choice, but I can think of more painful animations to sit through. I completely forgot about I know Who Killed Me though and it definitely deserves its spot.
  17. Sorry, I read through it I just didn't catch that.
  18. The movie sucks, but im not sure if it's one of the worst of all time.
  19. Inside Llewyn Davis Saving Mr. Banks The Wolf of Wall Street The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Her Lone Survivor The LEGO Movie The Monuments Men The Grand Budapest Hotel RoboCop
