  1. I know it I doesn't I mean anything, but my 3 pm showing was like 10% full, wasn't expecting that.
  2. Totally agree, it's truly great. I connected with it in a way I hadn't with any of the other SW movies. Definitely better than TFA. (I must also confess that I loved Valerian... )
  3. I think that some theaters is an underestimation. Made a count this morning (while buying tickets to watch it for the third time lol) And most had at least the same number of showings for Coco and Thor, with some having more Coco. Most theaters had Coco only in regular showings and Thor in IMAX, 4X and other special formats available though.
  4. This is unbelievable... I mean, my local cinema was chock full of people... Who went to watch Coco. Honestly, yesterday (dat of the dead) it was almost impossible to find a screen during the day for Coco, and the screens for Thor were at most half full. I know it's impossible for it to increase from OW, but I wish it did. Beautiful movie too, already watched it (and cried) twice.
  5. (Haven't read the thread since the friday number, sorry but I didn't/don't have the time) Man I don't know how to feel with this one. On one hand, many (including me, before) expected more from it. On the other... I watched this 10 days ago. It might have been the tiredness and sleepiness speaking after a midnight showing, but it didn't feel as elating as TA or IM1. In fact it left me quite sad, with no desire to rewatch soon. I know this is just a personal impression of the movie, but maybe there are others who felt the same way and therefore affected it rewatchability. I knew since the day I watched it that Avengers 1 numbers were too big just because of that. So, while I feel disappointed when comparing to my pre-watching numbers this is falling right around my post-watching numbers.
  6. I think I began following it seriously with HTTYD in 2010. But I'd been following ocassionally since 2006 or before.
  7. Mmmmm *is ignorant about grosses* *checks Revenant's total and w/e gross* *checks DwW domestic unadjusted gross* *finally checks Spectre road to 200m* If it follows Spectre's path, I think there's a chance. I'm not an expert tho.
  8. AFAIK most Latinamerican countries have Thursday and Friday. A few have Monday as well.
  9. China And it's doing fine in the rest of the markets too!
  10. 1. How to Train Your Dragon 2. How to Train Your Dragon 2 3. Ratattouille 4.The Incredibles 5. Mulan 6. Aladdin 7. Beauty and the Beast 8. Tangled 9. Up 10. Surf's Up 11. The Prince of Egypt 12. Wall-E 13. Hercules 14. Who Framed Roger Rabbit 15. Snow White
  11. This episode was so great. The jokes were on point, the action was EXCELLENT (that fight... all three parts of it!) and the stakes are sky high with Tenzin's possible death. Can't wait for next week!
  12. How to train your dragon 2 is gorgeous. As is Ratatouille, food in CGI hasn't looked better than that.
  13. I don't know to be honest. I'm certain that the book was quite popular in the US, but I honestly didn't see that many people reading it here in Mexico.
  14. Yay Venezuelan thread! And a great success for Dragon 2! This is sooo great! I was wondering about the insecurity and economy, thanks for clearing that right out the gate. I wish Centroamérica's number were just as accesible/big...
  15. Worst: Dexter How I Met Your Mother House Best: Breaking Bad Sopranos Avatar: the Last Airbender
  16. A topic to discuss the Disney Channel/Disney XD series Phineas and Ferb! Opened because of the upcoming Star Wars special...
  17. Cocodrile Dundee... well, it was number one the week/day I was born. (I f*ng hate that movie)
  18. Not exactly some people. TLK was a smaller, almost on the side project in comparison to Pocahontas, which was seen as the main one for Disney. It was quite a surprise when it broke out, AFAIK.
  19. You're not alone. The trailer looks cool, Baymax is funny and lovable. I think they should have shown more from the rest of the team As for Olaf vs Baymax... Baymax has potential to be more than comic relef. Olaf, going from the trailer, not the movie itself, seemed to be nothing but comic relief.
