    Edge of Tomorrow is really great in lots of ways (though the ending really hurts it), but I wasn't expecting it to be quite so funny. Fab science fiction movie.

    Ugh... well, I can't say I didn't expect that. All the Pirates films are essentially as bad as each other but at the very least, On Stranger Tides is not as terrible as At World's End. You said you missed Jack Davenport in the film - would you be interested to know that my next door neighbours are his family? (My claim to fame )

    Go for it! PLEASE. I'm fine with having lots of countdowns going on at the same time but currently they're all the same. I was thinking of writing a worst movies since 2010 list but this sounds much better. Something fresh Change DH1 to DH2 to piss him off

    They need to switch the cast members around, the talent seems to be mostly in background characters. Tom Wilkinson should play Edward Snowden.

    The point of the original thread was to do the 50 best films of the first half of the decade... but I guess since it's been going for so long now, a 2015 movie can count.

    I doubt it. Mainstream/popular movies, sure, but not predictable for a top 10 of the decade. To put it into perspective, I've disagreed with 27 on the list so far and agreed with 5. It's a much more interesting list than most others.

    Yeah, I know, but based on the signs from the trailer, they are using music and sound effects in a really intriguing way. Maybe that's just the marketing and it won't reflect the film itself, but it has me excited regardless!
