  1. I wanted to ask a question. I saw a few people put dragon ball and dragon ball Z together whereas a few put them seperately. Same goes with scooby doo. Most of the people put the whole franchise in as a single show but I remember one or two listing the individual shows separately on their lists. The same goes with a few other shows too - Fullmetal alchemist, Justice league/Unlimited etc. So how are their points getting counted? Did you count those as one and added the points or counted them as separate ones, giving equal points to the individual shows?
  2. Darn! That means i just waisted my list's first position . I knew I should have put Dragon Ball Z at the first place. Well, what's done's done and anyways, I was already prepared to be the person with the least represented list.
  3. I am guessing that the large no. of lists means a show appearing on only a single list, even if on top, has no chance of appearing? Any chance of the top 50 cut-off being less than 65?
  4. Wow, we are, like, reaaally opposite, aren't we spheak? (except, maybe, for our mutual love for Aladdin, though I don't consider him to be even close to being the best disney character of all time and apart from that -Who doesn't love him?)

  6. I hope The tale of princess Kaguya at least gets nominated and it would be great if it wins!
  7. I almost forgot that one! Thanks Iceroll. Apart from that I also forgot Avatar: The last airbender, Chihayafuru, digimon, Bakugan, Duel Masters and maybe some others too! I'll be adding them when I decide their positions and when I get the time. You see I have exams going on these days.
  8. No, the moral, it appears, is that not eNough people have seen much anime, or have just ignored them whilst making their list.
  9. 1 Dragon Ball Z 2 Sket Dance 3 Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 4 Yu Yu Hakusho 5 Bleach 6 Fairy Tail 7 Detective Conan/Case Closed 8 Spiderman(1994 series) 9 Batman: the animated series (1992 series) 10 Friends 11 Yu Gi Oh! 12 Inazuma 11 13 Dragon Ball 14 Phineas and Ferb This is quite a hurried and unfinalized kind of list. if i get time i may make some changes.
  10. Superb film. It is, at least for me, among the very best animated movies of all time. One of the most touching and depressing movies i have ever seen. People who mostly watch only western animation would be surprised at how touching and realistic an animated movie can be. Almost everything from the characterization to the soundtrack is near perfect. I was able to control my tears while watching this the first time. Just after I finished watching it, i went to sleep. But when I later woke up I just couldn't stop the tears from coming. I would strongly recommend this movie to everyone, especially if you want to see a touching and realistic animated movie. Defintely A+, 10/10 Also, another very important thing - if you are watching this for the first time then just after watching the complete movie, please rewatch the first 5 minutes or so. I bet they would be one of the saddest movie moments of your life.
  11. How much more is possible for gotg at this stage. I don't know a lot about the chinese box office but it seems it can make atleast $3-4 million more. So, is it going to end above $96m? And are there any realistic chances (above 25%) of it reaching 600m yuan
  12. WOW! Unless i am wrong thats around slightly above 98m! Wow! That will send this right across 780m WW and into the the top 50 WW list! What a great run!
  13. 85 million $ will be more than enough for me. After the first weekend (although it was not really a weekend) and the following slumpy weekdays, I was afraid if this will be able to reach over 75m or even 70m (I was preparing myself for the worst after all). This super-awesome second weekend, though, has saved and lifted the movie. It now has a very good chance at beating Maleficent (another super un-expected super blockbuster) and getting to the 2nd place in the worldwide chart.
  14. Sorry for the double posts. It seems whenever I use a mobile to post it posts it twice.
  15. Can guardians reach 10 million now? What are its chances? I don't know much about the Japanese box office but it seems to me that it's going to end up at 9.7-9.8Million.

  17. So you think this will be a bigger movie than The Incredibles? C'mon that was one of the of the best animated movie of all time!! Almost all critics consider this to be the best pixar movie aside from the toy story trilogy. That "was" a phenomenon, people still remember it as one of the greatest animated movies more than a decade after its release. Yeah maybe it was not a "cultural phenomenon" in the vein of 2001 or Titanic but do you think that there's even a minute chance that BH6 will be ? And since we are here comparing this to frozen - was it a culural phenomenon? No. It was a box office hit but still you'll find very few persons who'll consider it better than incredibles. And, adjusted for inflation, it wasn't far behind even in the box office field. And as for your "game changer" thing. Even if it does encourage inter-racial casts (which will be a very good thing) how will that be of any help to animated superhero films? Here we are only talking about what effect it will have on "animated superhero" movies not movies as a whole. There has not yet been any movie that has done as much for animated superhero movies as The Incredibles and I doubt BH6 will come even close to matching it ( I calculate the chances to be below 7% ). And since we are comparing it here to what frozen was to the animated princess movie genre ( a 100 year old genre with a legion of movies far better and a lot more more influential than frozen), I think there is no doubt that Incredibles did more, much more, to the hitherto rarely explored (cinematic) animated superhero genre.
  18. This is a smartly made poster. It's gonna hit the Japanese GA's hearts at just the right place. They love kawaii!! And kawaii, this definitely is!
  19. I still think the biggest surprise of the summer were GotG and Malefiecent.
