  1. MJ1 vs MJ2 analysis: 3rd weekend 22,03 18,60 84,44 Gross to date 258,15 227,11 87,98 Legs 2,12 2,21 104,46 Final gross* 337,14 294,22 87,27 *if MJ2 holds the last day's %
  2. No. CF's 3rd weekend drop was bigger because it made almost 100M 5-day. MJ2's drop should be in line with MJ1's. Boxoffice.com said 18.6M yesterday that's -64.3%.
  3. I expected more than 20M for MJ2 after the good holds so far. TGD drops bigger than Frozen Big Hero 6/Penguins of Madagascar. Creed is ok, but it should've make more.
  4. Goodfellas, Home Alone, Silence of the Lambs, Terminator 2. Maybe Beauty and the Beast too. The rest: No.
  5. The overseas gross is an even bigger WTF.
  6. It's clearly not for everyone, but there are a few 10/10s, those people really love it. Some tech wins + Leo?
  7. MJ2's drop is the same as MJ1's on 4th weekend. TGD -57% is horrible. Creed's okay, next week it should hold well and reach 100M few days after Cristmas. Creed total>TGD total?
  8. TOMATOMETER 82% Average Rating: 7.9/10 Reviews Counted: 36 Fresh: 30 Rotten: 6 Critics Consensus: No consensus yet.

  11. Next weekend battle for #1 will be interesting for sure with 4 films fighting for the top spot.
  12. TGD won't do 20M. That would require a massive jump. It can win next weekend with a sub 30% drop if ItHotS flops.
  13. The most overrated director of the 2000s. I hate Watchmen, the rest of his movies are meh.
  14. Alien Blade Runner Thelma & Louise Gladiator Black Hawk Down The Martian 2 of these film are worse than KoH? It's in his top 5 worst movies with 1492, Robin Hood/Prometheus, The Conselour and Exodus. Goblet of Fire is OK, but it's extremely rushed.
  15. I change this bet to over 295M. Another 2 people can take it. Edit: I cancel this bet.
  16. The critics are right about Kingdom of Heaven. One of Ridley's worst films.
  17. I don't see heavy advertising, but everyone knows it's coming. It'll be huge, like the biggest movie since Avatar. Revenge of the Sith has the adm. OW record here, i think TFA can sell more tickets. Lots of sellouts and those are rare in Hungarian cinemas.
  18. All the usual rules and deadlines: 1. Will Krampus open to at least $10M? Yes 2. Will Krampus open to at least $15M? 3000 No 3. Will Krampus open to at least $20M? No 4. Will Hunger Games finish at least $4M clear of Good Dinosaur? Yes 5. Will Creed drop less than 38%? No 6. Will Macbeth have a PTA above $24000? No 7. Will Spotlight have a better weekend change than Brooklyn? 2000 Yes 8. Will Peanuts cross $125M by end of Sunday? No 9. Will Spectre have a Sunday above $2.2M? Yes 10. Will The Night Before's PTA stay above $2000? No 11. Name one film in the top 15 that drops more than 50% (or state none)? 3000 Mockingjay 12. Will Legend enter the top 15 this weekend? No 13. Will Victor Frankenstein finish above Trumbo? No 14. Will Love the Coppers stay within 750k of The Martian this weekend? Yes 15. Will Krampus become the best post 2010 Christmas Horror Comedy based around a German folktale ever released in USA cinemas? Are there others? 11/15 - 2000 12/15 - 3000 13/15 - 5000 14/15 - 7000 15/15 - 10000 Part 2. 1. What will Krampus' Friday to Saturday percentage change be? -1% 2. What will The Hunger Games' total be come Sunday? 230.7M 3. What will Minions' weekend gross be this weekend? 100k Part 3. 3. Creed 5. Spectre 7. Spotlight 9. Brooklyn 12.
