actually i wonder, the gross from india for every hollywood films, were they reported as net or gross? the jungle book made $38m(net or gross?) last year, baahubali 2 seems outgross the jungle book in just a weekend -
in fact, the weekend gross for this movie locally is more than number 1 film of USA this week, F8 did about $19m+

i think GOTG could drop hard next week than usual given that labor day on monday boost the sunday's gross for this week....

to me, the theater count cut too much back in march due to stiff competition, leading get out PTA be actually much higher, now universal has added back to some venue as sort of"compensation". With this, we can't argue that universal pull out the film from theater by force

I agree, why must a box office tracking be so complicated? the net gross from tax and rental gross are the most annoying figure that dwarf the spectacular performance from indian movies in the eyes of world
