    I guess you're right, not bad was the wrong way of putting it. It is extremely disappointing but that's what seemed to happen with the kind of presales it got. In that sense, as it was expected, it's not too bad but comparing it to its predecessor it obviously is.

    Still, I hope for some improvements despite the weather. JW3 had 80k admissions yesterday after 100k OD which seems pretty good so maybe...

    According to Insidekino JW actually had a 100k OD which is 53% above JW2 (65k), though quite a bit behind JW1 (145k apparently). Does anybody know why the second one had such a low OD? Seems odd for the third to open that much higher again...

    Yesterday seems to have been much stronger than predicted (TG:M even had its best day yet) TG:M 407,5k (-23%/-34%) 1,165M DS2 115k (-43%) 1,993M FB3 45k (-40%) 2,835k

    Neither did I think it would be that big before it opened but seeing its totals in countries like the Netherlands or Czech Republic it seems now that it could have done more. Out of all that movies breaking out anywhere (like BR, Lion King, Joker etc) that one seems like the one to be really big in Germany (if any).

    Yeah, it was a great leggy run but of all the movies releasing in the last couple of years this was the one most probable to explode IMO and I would have loved to see at least 6M (looking at some of our neighbors). My hopes are high for Avatar 2 at least being our next $100M movie...

    It really hurts to see movies breaking out in any country but Germany 😐 Bohemian Rhapsody should have been the one but while it did well it just wasn't as huge as in some other countries. Might be the only thing breaking out in Germany is Corona.
