I've only seen basically the highlight reels of The Room. This was very good, James Franco does a bang up job. It's very funny. The movie takes it's time getting started, but it needs that to establish these characters, so you actually feel something for this weird dude who is just totally alien in so many ways. Also, the side by side comparison of what they shot, and what happened in The Room, was really spooky and eerie, seeing franco and Wisseu side by side. -

(Not the franchise war thread) As someone who gets into pointless arguments about CBMs, can this stop please? Time and a place. If you really want to bitch about someone's opinion on a Franchise, go move over to the proper thread and keep bitching there. Has anything been said in the past few pages about the buyout at all?

I think you can still have a sense of urgency, and still have a slower pace. Just introduce roadblocks every so often, or every so often have someone ask for favor, or order them to do something. Like Anderson going "Hey, can I get some help with this Moonbase problem". Something that really can't just be dealt with by regular people. I think it would be better served by a 20+ episode season, or split amongst two 13 episode seasons.

I think I'm more in the camp of drawing out ME1, and making it feel less rushed, since the game itself didn't feel rushed, unlike 2 & 3. I don't think you could get ME1 into a 13 episode season easily, and should give it time to breath in it's own space. There is a lot of small things that would be lost about the charm of ME if it's rushed.

Never seen the room, just basically highlight reels. Enjoyed the movie. It's a weird humanizing effect on Johnny, who always felt like an unreal person.

I mean, I sure hope Disney doesn't have any films in the future that isn't straight for family audiences. That could mean you're overacting.
