  1. This by far my most anticipated movie of the season. The book had a tremendous impact on me. I can't think of a director better suited to this project than Scorsese
  2. The book is so incredible (really, if you read it at a certain point in your life, it can be life changing), that the potential for something incredible or dismal is there in equal measure
  3. Fascinating article on Scorsese and the movie http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/27/magazine/the-passion-of-martin-scorsese.html
  4. I'm talking about the musical score. All of them are horrendous
  5. All Transformers movies have horrendous scores. The first is no exception
  6. Civil War is an Avengers movie in everything except title. So I would consider under 400 to be a disapointment
  7. I can imagine his pitch: "this is my Nautilus submarine. It's cylindrical, long and hard and is filled with seamen"
  8. I love the idea o Kylo Ren as the anti Luke. At the end of TFA, he is essentially in the same place as Luke in the end of ESB. Defeated, humilated, scarred and emotinally distraught. And I also love how Kylo killed his father in order to go further to the Dark Side, whereas Luke spared his in order to go to the Light Side
  9. Like I said before, I think that's the whole point: Rey is good beyond her training, it's meant to establish her as an incredible strong natural Force user
  10. Kylo was severely injured. He had just finished dueling someone else. He was emotionally troubled. Plus, Rey was already a very good hand to hand fighter. And I also think she's the most powerful force user we've seen thus far in the saga. She's connected to the force awakening somehow. The fact that she's powerful beyond her training is kinda the whole point, I think
  11. I think Rey is connected with the whole Force Awakening thing. It's even possible she wasn't Force Sensitive before said awakening. Like the Force chose her or something
  12. Makes sense. Anyhow, although I still don't think Rey is Luke's daughter, I hope that if that turns out to be the case, that they reveal it without making a big deal out of it (like they did with Kylo Ren).
  13. I still can't think of a reason of why Luke would abandon her in a wasteland, all by herself. And she would be old enough to remember who her parents are. I think there's something else about Rey
  14. Actually I think R2 (and Luke, through him), were waiting for someone in specific, but rather someone who would've been "awakend by the force". Kinda how Jesus only began preaching when he was 30
