  1. I thought he did since he joined back in May. Wiki says "It is unknown how his death will affect the production of the film" though.
  2. RIP. Hope the Tarantino movie gave him a good sendoff.
  3. Watched the first Equalizer. Gotta be one of the worst offenders among silly action movies that are much longer than they have any right to be. Never ceases to amaze me, these big studio genre movies that are supposedly out to entertain but waste their time on all sorts of dull bullshit in the process.

  5. There's been a lot of solid trolling in this thread but that choice for the Leia scene is a bridge too far
  6. I rewatched Butch Cassidy a couple weeks ago and it's meh. The Sting blows it out of the water.
  7. That strikes me as actually good tbh. Better him than another showy biopic performance that no one would remember a year later. Same reason I'm rooting for Ethan Hawke to get in for First Reformed this year even though I still haven't even seen it lol.
  8. Didn't like The Childhood of a Leader and this sounds like it carries over that movie's pretension but at least with more to chew on. Looking forward to the Scott Walker score, if nothing else.

  10. 2001 in IMAX It's been said many times and now I know that it's been said because it's true, this is just on a whole different level when seen on the big screen. The first time I watched it at home I fell asleep, the second time I thought it was OK with a couple of amazing moments, this time I was sitting there crying tears of joy before 30 minutes had passed.
  11. Bautista is a legit good actor. Besides his great comic timing as Drax, he turned in an impactful performance in Blade Runner 2049 with three minutes of screentime. He'll be fine.
  12. By "leave out" and your comments about historical accuracy you make it sound like the movie pretends the flag planting never happened, which it doesn't. It's there, but left offscreen. You can still feast your eyes on the flag afterwards.
