It looks like Inside Out will drop around Brave/WALL-E/Toy Story 3 this weekend. It's not what I was hoping for, but considering the amazing opening and the likelihood of $300m+, there's nothing close to wrong with the film's run so far.
I want to see other holds yestersay. Those seem like ridiculously large drops for June, but I guess the strength of Tuesday may have given the market a need for correction.

As crazy as it seems, three $50m films has almost happened before, back in Memoral Day 2005 with SW3, Longest Yard, and Madagascar. The lowest was $47m.
I think you're getting worked up over nothing, David.
Unless a celebrity really made a personal impact on a person, most people won't feel bad about it for more than a few days. People are sad about the death of a famous person because they made something well liked. People will be sad that they died for a while, but sheet devastation doesn't truly last for so long.
At most, you're complaining about hyperbole.
People liked what James Horner did, they recognized him, and they are sad that someone who made something so significant to them died. It's not rocket science.
How soon could IO take back #1? JW will probably drop around 65%, while Riley & Co. will have a smaller drop (TS3 dropped just over 51% with a better Sunday hold). Give those drops with RTH's numbers and you have $13m for JW and $12m for IO.

I think at this point, we're moving into personal preference in the movies, so I guess I'll drop it.
So being uncomfortable with
is now the equivalent to being a Social Justice Warrior who complains about everything?
Look, the
But here in Jurassic World, it really doesn't work.
With people saying that didn't like a scene in the movie, you seem to be a bit...offended.
If they added Tuesday grosses to Friday, the Saturday estimate seems about right. A drop somewhere between TS3/Cars 2 and Brave/WALL-E, all things considered.
It should be around Cars 2's total by the end of its second weekend.
