  3. Considering your crazy doom and gloom predicts last weekend, 70m would be awesome for this.
  4. Inside Out and Jurassic World will combine to at least $50m tomorrow.
  5. Even if Jurassic World didn't exist, IO isn't even getting $90m.
  6. I obviously love Toy Story 3, but Megamind is really great.
  7. I was speaking in general terms. You're good, mate.
  8. You're allowed to dislike Pixar. Something not living up to the hype always occurs to someone. At the same time, though,
  9. I've yet to hear one person say Inside Out isn't entertaining nor hilarious. It's an animated tentpole, not Ingmar Bergman.
  10. This is going to be an unprecedented weekend. Jurassic World is a mind blowing success, and Inside Out may be one of Pixar's best films. There are going to be fireworks this weekend.
  11. Well, let's see, The humans are ultimately pretty helpless during the whole situation Famous monster from previous iterations has to face a new, horrific threat Giant monster fight at the end of the movie, good monster wins and retreats Said battle also happens at night and climaxes in water People fleeing and panicking, ends with big reunion at emergency relief center Just to reiterate, I didn't dislike this movie. I was just making an observation.
  12. They really captured lightning in a bottle with the first two films. The second increased from the original in the face of friggin' AVATAR, for god's sake.
  13. I don't think Man of Steel is a good comparison for a Wednesday drop. It had a smaller Tuesday drop, and it ended up getting slaughtered on Thursday due to some sports game. Still going with a 25% drop today and an 8% drop tomorrow.
  14. A 1. World of Tomorrow 2. What We Do In The Shadows A- 3. Ex Machina 4. Mad Max: Fury Road 5. Best of Enemies B+ 6. Kingsman: The Secret Service 7. Slow West 8. Spy 9. Gods B 10. Tomorrowland 20. Jurassic World C 21. Fifty Shades of Grey C- 22. Catch Me Daddy D 23. Jupiter Ascending
  15. Did anyone else notice the final act here is pretty much copied from Godzilla?
  16. I would recommend using a different word, but JW is undoubtedly making up for AOU's supposedly lackluster performance.
  17. Even if AB is past its prime, they should be able to market it as simply as kids' animated film.
  18. Mad Max is crossing $140m today. Anyways, I'm predicting $18m for Jurassic World today. It should be at about $290-300m at the end of the week break into the domestic top 10 by next Thursday.
