Is it a movie about talking puppets? At its surface, sure, but it's also funnier than most films on the market, and it never has to resort to R-rated raunchiness, a common strategy in Hollywood today. You can tell that the filmmakers, especially Jason Segel, were dedicated to this film, and on the screen, it shows. It's, overall, an incredible joy to watch, and I strongly doubt that people know what they're missing out on. They're just passing it off as, "Ew. A talking puppet movie." Again, it is indeed a talking puppet movie, but it's a fantastic one.Besides, baumer, the movie you loved broke out, and The Muppets didn't. Cut the Muppet fans some slack.

The Muppets are just too awesome for Americans anyway.

^Yeah, Chastain was in 5 critically favored films this year: The Debt, The Help, The Tree Of Life, Coriolanus, and Take Shelter. That's a serious case of vote splitting.She was really good in Tree Of Life, though.

The Tree Of LifeIt felt less like a movie and more of a work of art. It's visually beautiful, and the family scenes are teeming with emotion, but the film seems too self indulgent in its worldly tone at times, and as a result, it develops a rather confusing story. Still, it's an extremely admirable effort, and if nothing else, it's a masterpiece in sight and sound.If I had to grade it, I guess I'd give it a B+.

You should at least see The Muppets!

Hilarious and nostalgic, you can tell that Segel/Bobin put a lot of effort into this film. I was smiling the whole time.Imagine a world where all kids movies were this good. Wouldn't that be awesome?

To me, it's both a Halloween movie and a Christmas movie.That's what makes it so awesome.

The Muppets & The Descendants would also prove to be efficient remedies.

I totally prefer the 'Scientists' subtitle than the one we have in America, but oh well.

That Soul Baby bit is so overplayed in the ads, that I'm starting to cringe whenever I see it.Between this and Your Highness, David Gordon Green really dropped the ball from Pineapple Express.
