  1. When the time comes I can offer a pre read but for know I can send some DMs about the plot once I get home.
  2. Apparently the second trailer has 15M views. The fuck did that happen?
  3. That’s exactly what I was trying to say. Disney knows Cameron is their MVP as their brands will start to diminish next year and they’d do anything for him (I like to believe Disney will allow him an Alita 2). Disney will probably give him full creative control because of it. Which again showed he wanted to work with Disney, he could’ve been more about artistic integrity and gone with some else or do it himself. I also don’t see why Disney wouldn’t give him total control. He even went to Disney when Fox wouldn’t give him what he wanted. Why wouldn’t he do the same to a different studio if Disney refuses his demands. This is Cameron’s world and Disney knows they’re just living in it.
  4. Hell, Disney would probably bend for Cameron, due to the vast potential the franchise has on it’s own and Cameron knows he has all of the cards on the table. Even if Disney somehow has the total rights, they wouldn’t strip Cameron away as there’s no Avatar without him. I doubt they’d risk something major like that slip out of their hands.
  5. I’m the most curious and excited on how the underwater scenes will look. Probably be one of the few movies I see in 3D like I did with Alita.
  6. I highly doubt they’ll interfere with Cameron. Besides if Cameron never wanted to work with Disney, he could’ve said no to them doing an theme park exhibition and give it to Universal Studios.
  7. I am stanning for it because I’ve been a Pokémon fan for years and it looks good. I don’t care what it grosses I’m hoping it’s good and maybe start another big franchise outside of superhero/live action remake fare. The same reason why I stanned for RP1 and Alita.
  8. Damn, now that was a great upgrade, this may be the one few CBMs I’m really excited for in the future, next to 1984 and Panther 2.
  9. @cayommagazine Infinite Studios has bought and greenlighting a very controversial Jordan Peele project tentatively titled “Eyes” with Michael B. Jordan as it’s main lead. Endless Entertainment CEO, Xavier B Irving is planning on writing the project with Peele. The plot for Eyes is very unknown but it is said to tackle the abuse of power of celebrities in Hollywood for disgusting actions such as Harvey Weinstein and race relations. The film unlike Us, Get Out or the still upcoming Smells Like School Spirit, won’t contain horror or thriller but rather a full out drama. Irving says he was really inspired by “By The Balls”, particularly the ending saying that although that it isn’t a thriller, the haunting aura will be felt. The project will arrive Y6 and is reportedly part of the Big 4 for Endless Entertainment/Infinite Studios next to Super Mario Bros and two other undisclosed films.
  10. So, these past few weeks, I have had a non tentpole idea for a film that can be a game changer and a Best Picture winner but it’s so big and potentially controversial I think I may need help with cause I can easily go over my head with it.
  11. Move Up the Butt there and I’ll figure something out for Thanksgiving.
  12. @Xillix move Splatoon to May 28th (Memorial Day weekend) Y5
  13. It’s all good. If I had a dime for every project I’ve cancelled/pushed back I’d be a millionaire. Real life always comes first, and I wish you the best of luck on the job hunt.
  14. Not really, although it’ll decrease regardless, Jumanji 3 would be sandwiched between Fast 9 and WW1984 and then it would from a potential near $350M-$380M grosser thanks to a barren November-December to a near $250M grosser Besides SW9 isn’t a threat as it survived just fine with it vs Jedi in 2017 and SW9 which I think is increasing, has to deal with the brand dilution of Star Wars and Jedi. I doubt Sony would flinch for Disney.
  15. Actually I can see that, mainly due to how weak October and November is aside from Frozen II which is not until Thanksgiving and Joker aims at a different audience. The only concern other than the 5 year wait and quality of the first is how packed September to October is with family films as Spies In Disguise, Abominable and Addams Family open, though I think SID will go to Disney+ due to the move.
  16. I think it's too late for that considering the amount of footage.
  17. This is shocking. However Disney may have saved this things ass as it would’ve been clobbered in the summer. If trailers are good, I can see it benefiting from the weak November and actually doing about the same/slightly less as the original as it’s a great release date. Still 4 live action remakes/sequels in a year is shocking, however I actually see a very small possibility of this doing more than Aladdin.
