I mean Wakanda Forever in my opinion will likely skew more GA friendly than say the average MCU nerd wet dream as say the Avengers series, CW, NWH and MoM, so I’d not be surprised if tickets were subdued until the last two weeks like Venom 2 or even the first Black Panther. I think over Love and Thunder is a good benchmark.

The logic of the world still confuses me. The crocodile can sing but can’t talk according to the trailers. If he was parroting songs I kind of getting it but he can sing original songs made up on the fly, just like that?

To be fair, the Russo brothers never written a script, only directed (and tbh I’m not that much of a fan of their direction but that’s besides the point). The writers, McFreely and Marcus have written film scripts before. I have no doubt the GA will likely like it enough but I doubt I’ll think this film will be fantastic.

Apart from James Gunn’s Guardians and Eric Pearson penning Thunderbolts, Phase 5 onward writers have never written a film script before.

Keegan Michael Key voices a parrot in this movie. It’s also his second illumination film in 2023.
