I got The Lonely, Earth Defense Force, Dark Side, David (half written), and Vladimir left to write. Doing Vladimir this week and David this weekend hopefully. EDF will be straightforward to write. The Lonely and Dark Side are gonna take a while to write and will not be up probably until the Y3 Part 1 deadline..

The Chrysalids Plot Details The plot for Guillermo Del Toro's The Chrysalids has been announced today. The inhabitants of a rural settlement called Waknuk, which is located in post-apocalypse Labrador practise a form of fundamentalist Christianity. They believe that to follow God's word and will prevent another Tribulation. They must preserve absolute normality among the surviving humans, plants and animals, and therefore practice eugenics. Humans with even minor mutations are considered blasphemies and either killed or sterilised and banished to the Fringes, a lawless and untamed area rife with animal and plant mutations. A teenage David Strorm, the son of Waknuk's zealous and religious patriarch, discovers he has telepathic powers. He soon discovers other children who share his mutation. Together they must struggle against a culture, which not only fears them but wishes to annihilate them.
