  2. The direction of FK was pretty good from memory. The film looks fantastic just the awful script held it back from being good
  3. I mean they're preaching to the converted with me. The choice of no sound effects other than the music is interesting. I think I prefer the Fallout teaser to this one but nevertheless still a very good teaser. Can't wait to see what dialogue McQuarrie has in store for Kittridge
  4. I always had Thor > Dr Strange and only have been thought to change my mind with the presales maybe suggesting up to 38-40s for previews up til a couple of days ago.
  5. Be a bit disappointing with the Preview/OW ratio but in terms of the actual OW no way it's a disappointment.
  6. Liked it didn't love it. Too short to have enough weight on certain characters and decisions made but pretty fun direction and visuals make up for it. Wonder though with rematches at home it will diminish as the story problems become more apparent. Down for Raimi to come back though.
  7. I mean to get the wider and perhaps more fulfilled experience with Wanda's arc I'm sure watching WandaVision is ideal (how could it not be considering the arc she goes on in that show?) But I highly doubt you'll be lost if you haven't watched the show. Was there major backlash with Infinity War when it started right after Ragnarok ended?
  8. Audio is pretty scuffed but some thoughts from Raimi about his directing absence in the last 10 years.
  9. The value of putting out a trailer 5 months+ in advance isn't worth it to Disney anymore. Studios are doing shorter marketing timeframes since COVID which makes sense.
  10. So much to process as a fan. What I'll also say is while I'm glad it's a TV show with more time and understand why after Solo Lucasfilm decided to scrap the anthology films this one as a film would have done very good BO numbers.
  11. Ultimately reboots will always have some sort of audience trepidation embedded in them no matter how popular the IP is like Batman and Spider-Man. With this Batman I don't think there's anything really the marketing team could have done to sell this version more. Unlike Homecoming as well this Batman doesn't have the benefit of being attached to the most successful movie series as well.
  12. Pretty fantastic the movie sets itself apart immedietly by tone and mood and it doesn't let up. The constant game between Riddler and Batman was intriguing and was wonderfully surprised how much Gordon is in this film. Selina and Bruce undoubtly have very good chemistry (Batman is a far more interesting character whenever Selina was onscreen with him). Dano is unhinged and having a blast. Does lose a bit of steam towards the end but the ending of the movie made me understood how much the people behind this movie get who Batman should be as a character.
  13. I'd love him to go back and do some original work but this show feels like the ultimate James Gunn work so all for him continuing this show. Finale stuck the landing and this might be my favourite live action superhero show now.
  14. Pity Tom Kane has retired from voice acting cause they should just use a Clone Wars style recap at the start of every MCU movie
  15. Through all the craziness this also still looks like it's Strange's movie first and Wanda's second which is what I'm hoping. I like it when Strange who usually acts like he knows everything is in situations he has no clue how to handle which seems like this movie is all about.
  16. I don't think they'll reveal anymore cameos this movie already has enough interest and momentum for it to be massive. Hope Raimi sticks around after this movie.
  17. Dare I say the trailer made me actually interested in this movie. Have no faith in Trevorrow but at least should be an entertaining mess hopefully? (I mean dinosaurs and humans co-existing you can do all sorts of fun things with that).
  18. While the finale was alright can't help but think the show overall is a missed opportunity for the character of Boba Fett.
