  1. I wonder if that will be the time when Marvel will fully announce their "Phase 4" slate or if it would already be too late as any of the 2020 films would technically need to be filming already.
  2. DCEU Domestic Average: $317,618,694 DCEU Overseas Average: $436,000,000 MCU Domestic Average: $339,334,680 MCU Overseas Average: $520,000,000 DCEU and MCU on a surface level analysis are comparable in North America but MCU has the clear advantage Overseas. Also noting the MCU figures include AMaTW's current totals so those averages especially Overseas are gonna rise.
  3. Aquaman should easily beat Bumblebee Domestic but will be an interesting contest Overseas.
  4. So I finally watched Fantastic Mr Fox and Isle of Dogs. Sign me up for more Wes Anderson stop motion films please. Also rewatched Finding Nemo and Finding Dory back to back. Nemo obviously holds up as a great film but Dory surprisingly also ended up being better than I remembered.
  5. Dr Strange was one of the standouts in Infinity War. I think his sequel will break out especially Overseas.
  6. It must speak volumes about Marvel's position if they supposedly won't do a sequel to a film that will gross $600M+ from a $160M Budget. But they will of course but with probably some changes such as a director change and it won't be a major priority for them in the immediate future (thinking 3-4 year gap). Also remember Ant-Man will have an appearance in Avengers 4 which should help. I would explain further why but that's spoiler territory.
  7. Literally the only thing I would change from Thor: Ragnarok it would be the joke Korg makes when Asgard gets destroyed (despite the great memes it has spawned). Kinda felt like Taika couldn't help himself lol. Glad the Russo Brothers let you sit with that Infinity War ending for a good portion until the post credit scenes.
  8. Yeah I would have been way more pumped for this right after Winter Soldier came out but now especially it being a prequel idk. I trust Marvel of course but they at least need to nail the action aspects of the film like the Russo Brothers have done with Black Widow.
  9. Probably will rewatch Mission Impossible III, Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation before Fallout. Maybe it would be nice if people laid down their differences and all started stanning for the Mission Impossible Franchise.
  10. Can't wait when Spider-Man: Far From Home will have the exact same pattern next year when it opens in July.
  11. I don't think anyone seriously thinks that Ant-Man and the Wasp is any sort of failure for Marvel. MCU fans have been spoiled from the overperformance of Black Panther, Infinity War and even Thor: Ragnarok to some extent.
  12. If the other two trailers made me really emotional this one just gave me so much joy
  13. Yeah the Feb 2021 Release for Marvel should be Black Panther 2. Though now I wonder what's gonna take the converted MCU May Release then. And yeah Ant-Man 3 will happen (Ant-Man and the Wasp is making over $600M) but some retooling will happen which is completely fine.
  14. Ant-Man will get a 3rd Film barring unusually poor legs for a July MCU Film but yeah I can see a change in director happening and a guest star appearance by a major character.
  15. That's all my friends would talk about when rewatching the first
  16. Ant-Man and the Wasp's Total is ok neither good nor bad. July Weekdays should ensure a final total above $200M and Worldwide should exceed well above $600M. If Ant-Man acted like a Phase 1 film in Phase 2 then it sorta makes sense Ant-Man and the Wasp is acting like a Phase 2 film in Phase 3. Also keeping in mind that Ant-Man hasn't had a major role in any of the team up films that helped boost the Thor and Cap sequels. He had a nice showing in Civil War but that was a small role in a film where Spider-Man and Black Panther stole the show too.
  17. Anxiously waiting for semester results that will come via text message
  18. Ant-Man and the Wasp made me feel that Ant-Man has one of if not the best supporting cast along with Black Panther in the MCU.
  19. Well also Rocket and Groot are part of an ensemble. GOTG aren't called Rocket Raccoon and Groot while Ant-Man has to carry the film and be in the title.
