  1. Ultron was criticized with being "more of the same" hence the shrug and meh response while TLJ took wild risks which is why the response to that was much more passionate (except @Force Ghost Cap's passion for dissing Ultron remains supreme). I don't think it's got to do with the different fanbases though yes MCU fanbase is in a healthier place atm.
  2. I'd say for rhe GA Ultron and TLJ probably had similar reception (good film if maybe a step down from the previous) but Infinity War had an advantage of Phase 3 in between and those characters coming. TROS as we can confirm struggled with finding another hook other than "it's another Episode film"
  3. Not a hater or one of those people who say Kathleen Kennedy is the devil lol But if TROS does end up close to say Rogue One numbers WW can we really say she did a good job with this franchise?
  4. It's pretty fascinating (and sad as a fan) how much Star Wars has failed to capture the OS market since TFA. Like this year it seems Endgame, TLK, Frozen 2, FFH, Joker and Captain Marvel will all comfortably outgross TROS in OS markets. And it's not just cause of China too.
  5. Rewatching The Polar Express. Let's just say the CGI hasn't aged very well.
  6. Maybe they think cause TLJ and TROS was more backloaded in terms of Previews to OD than TFA? But then I always thought it made complete sense as to why that was the case.
  7. CS is only useful when comparing films from the same franchise IMO. Otherwise comparisons with other films make little sense. B+ doesn't necessarily mean bad WoM but it certainly isn't a good indicator that we can say 100%.
  8. 1. Raya and The Last Dragon 2. The Eternals 3. Tenet 4. Soul 5. Black Widow 6. Mulan 7. No Time to Die 8. Dune 9. Wonder Woman 1984 10. The Gentlemen
  9. I'm sure with the controversy the sequel trilogy has faced Disney will be more careful to appease the diehard Avatar fanbase.
  10. Eh if people wanna go see it and they enjoy it good on them even if I wasn't a fan. At the end of the day this is the last one for a while and even longer the last one in this particular story.
  11. Honestly it's a miracle the show ended up as good as it was considering how much Nickelodeon screwed Bryan and Mike over during the making of it.
  12. Man didn't know today it's been 5 years since The Legend of Korra ended. While not perfect I think the show is a really good example of doing a sequel that builds on the original without tearing down the old. Really miss the Avatar shows.
