    DC is well positioned to be among the Top 3 Franchises of the 2020s (others are MCU and Avatar IMO).

    I think people are banking on the traditional markets having big increases while thinking there's not much room for the franchise to go downwards in Asia and Latin America. I don't necessarily agree but I understand the rationale.

    The "progressive agenda" yielded two $1 Billion films so maybe they'll be fine?

    I get it but feels like Deadline trying to hype up the pre-sales as greater than what they are. (Don't get me wrong they are very good).

    Yeah Disney didn't announce anything for the teaser I doubt the main trailer was that much more noteworthy. Not that it matters too much for the BO as Star Wars appeals to an older demo.

    Actually though I now want to see a series where Scorsese and Coppola do trailer reactions for all the upcoming blockbusters and the look of disgust on their face.

    James Gunn needs to learn to not post everything he feels all the time. Though I can imagine it must sting when his (probably heroes) are trashing his films though. Liked Taika's response though.

    One thing I've learned from DC is that never use a previous DC film to predict an upcoming one. But since Wonder Woman the quality has been great besides Justice League.

    For me "fake looking" practical effects don't take me out of the story nearly as bad as poor CGI. I guess I can accept something much more easily if I know it's tangible. But hey all film experience is subjective.
