  1. Very curious to see how the Pac Man chase ultimately looks. Hope those guys watched Tokyo Drift enough and fitted their cars with NOS. The question is will Pac Man have those seeds he can eat where the ghosts turn dark blue and edible?
  2. With regard to the brief CGI on display, I suppose you can't really argue that it is what it's supposed to be.
  3. I'm sure I've already said this. This has my curiosity based on concept and non-Happy Madison talent involved, but there's still much that gives me pause. Sandler casting his Siamese butt buddy Kevin James as POTUS feels like self-satisfaction and self-amusement on Sandler's part. Also, Sony said in the press release for the movie when it was announced that it features Sandler's "all-audience brand of comedy", a concept that irritates me now.
  4. I was only pointing stuff like that out. I wasn't complaining. However, deep down, as someone from New Jersey, I take not pumping my own gas very seriously.
  5. Do you not know the meaning of the word inconsequential? Because I used that word.
  6. Some of the musical cues from the score sounded a lot like they were from Captain America 2. No surprise when I saw Henry Jackman as composer.
  7. If you're from NJ like I am, though, you can easily spot the gas station inaccuracy.
  8. It's not legal to. It's not because we're incapable of it.
  9. There were some inconsistencies in terms of geographical details. The license plate on his car was New Jersey, and the gas station he stops at is in New Jersey, but he pumps his own gas which in NJ is not allowed. However, they seem to show the funeral scene somewhere east of Manhattan and then later show him driving across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan suggesting he was coming in from Long Island instead of NJ. But that stuff was ultimately inconsequential.
  10. Check out what it says stamped on the clipboard with the dog at the end. He wasn't taking the dog for the sake of stealing it. Nice subtle symbolic touch in a movie that is literally a blatant shot to the head of adrenaline.
  11. Outside of those movies and Speed, the only film of his that has a sequel he didn't appear in, he hasn't really done anything else to warrant a sequel. They were presumably aiming to make a franchise out of Constantine, but that didn't perform up to expectations. Reeves probably feels the same way about a John Wick sequel as the directors do. They want to make sure the story is right.
  12. Even thought the story won't be as impressive, at least Chad and Dave will be back and are far superior action directors than Taken sequels director Olivier Megaflop. Seriously, did Luc Besson hire him to direct movies based on the sound of his name?
  13. John Wick Ships Up to Boston He's about to give Wicked a whole new meaning.
  14. Maybe not demolish, but it'll beat it out nonetheless. Who will care about yet another Friday the 13th?
  15. Just got it on Blu-Ray and am rewatching it a lot.
  16. Well damn, I bet no one thought American Sniper would have ended up on the Top 10 this year.
  17. It'll probably be Sung Kang if anyone. He and John Cho were in Better Luck Tomorrow for Lin.
  18. Wikipedia has the plot summary. Why the hell is the wife still with the rich guy? I thought the Taken 2 ending made it clear she and Bryan were back together.
  19. Who is the real culprit? And does he have connections to the Albanian crime syndicate from the first two?
  20. Just wanna bring up something else regarding STID's "concepts and ideas". How much of it actually qualifies as such when at least half of them are taken from someone else's as oppose to actually thought up?
  21. Well the irony is their work is only considered decent if Abrams was associated with it as well.
