    This is an oddly really good drop compared to past late September animation. -73% compared to: Smallfoot -84% Ninjago -86.6% Storks -85% HT2 -84% Boxtrolls -85% Cloudy Meatballs 2 -86% HT1 -86% Viewed another way its 27% hold is basically double what these did (near exactly double Ninjago's hold). Was there a Canadian holiday or something?

    This is, indeed, the only saving grace in this thread being a constant dumpster fire. Though there was that one time it got totally derailed and talked about good anime for like three pages. That was good times.

    I know the census officially classifies them as white, but most people don’t consider them white. If they made up a larger % of the country the census would probably update to handle them differently.

    If it missed it would at least probably be the strongest 4th place movie ever. So far I don’t believe a year’s 4th place has ever made the DOM top 15.

    I don’t want to get sucked into whatever useless argument has enveloped the last pages, but I was skimming some posts and figured I’d mention that almost nobody would consider Persians white. I doubt that’s central to the main disagreement here, but it’s really not correct.

    I’d give it about a 20% chance with what we’re seeing, which is similar to what I would have said 1,5, and 10 weeks ago. Still 5 days to go and if it continues to show unusually big regional variation that will only increase the uncertainty.
