Well aside from that it’s a movie from the famous That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series with a pithy title thst both rolls off the tongue nicely and tells you exactly what is what in the show. Neither of these are even top 2 sus among Isekai genre. Rising of the Sheild Hero is SUS but No Game, No Life is 🚨S🚨U🚨S🚨 -

I can’t really imagine how it would drop 50% with flat fri. Maybe satsun can drop 50% but even there I’d guess more like 40% for a 30s wknd

And as Jat says, there may be systematic patterns in chain/natl movement that we can anticipate and correct for with more movies under the belt. Though this is xmas period so we may not have had the right data to see it coming even if we’d been at it for 9 months now.

We’re just working with a very small sample size atm based on scraping limitations. Worked out pretty well for most days of the run but you can’t totally eliminate the 98% out of sample moving differently which is one reason I’ve tried to emphasize large ranges (though today is a yuge miss, hopefully those remain rare or the realistic range is going to be so large as to be useless 😛 )

FWIW been running about 2x Menu in harkins and I do expect that to increase in Jan. -
Fri looks ~flat. Seems like a lot less presales heading into satsun vs last week but it’s also nye/NYD vs xmas/Xmas day so I wouldn’t read super much into it. Keeps holding strong for now.
