Inarittu has an easier in since he has industry clout already, but I think the work abuse allegations will bite him in the ass. I think the win would be a toss between Thirteen Lives and She Said, if both end up getting nominated (probably gonna be the worst two films out of the ones I listed too lol).

Swiss Army Man looked annoying and Dick Long was bad. But the stuff I'm hearing about the movie is getting to me. Expectations still low but I'll probably watch it this weekend if I have the time (priority for this weekend is the new Bay).

Noticed a lot of cinemas around me dropped RRR from the upcoming weekend's schedule. Closest cinema showing it to me this weekend is the big AMC in SF. Is the movie having big theater count drop this weekend.

They can double this year's Oscars numbers by getting Ram Charan and Jr NTR and having them do a live performance of this song:

The Power of the Dog with just one win. Embarassing for a film that was considered Best Picture frontrunner for months.

Apple spent all this money to get a movie nobody watched the Best Picture win only to get overshadowed by Will Smith.

Don't know if this is the right place to say this but RRR was SO GOOD. Everyone should try to watch it at least once in the cinema. A movie like this will never be made again.

Insane that Villeneuve didn't even get nominated. In the past decade Gravity, La La Land, and Fury Road got 6 wins. The former two won Best Director and the Fury Road was quite easily 2nd place.
