I think this is being shown to critics right now. Bunch of people I follow tweeting over the past half hour about seeing the avatar trailer in the cinema.
Fuck, got caught up with assignments and I forgot about the deadline. Not sure how much of a difference it would've made anyways. My final BP list would've been the exact same as the one I posted earlier too.
Would be cool if Madame Webb fucked off honestly. Literally no one is going to watch it anyways and it's just a wasted spot for an actually big movie to move to. Mission Impossible could move to May if Fast X moves, Marvels would go to the first week of July spot Marvel uses from time to time, and Nolan keeps his usual late July spot.
This would be so good. Down with Love is a 60s set screwball comedy and probably the 2nd best non-MCU film from any of the MCU directors (after Creed).
Edit: Now that I think about it, did he make Down with Love because his F4 didn't come through
I feel like Erik Davis thinks she's playing the mom just cuz she's older, and you never see younger guy, older woman romances. Still hoping that she plays the love interest and not the mom.
F9 did not feel like a Justin Lin film. Would not be surprised if the success of Furios 7 got to Diesel and he is controlling as much of the creative decisions as possible.
But again, not that different from something like The Revenant (which even had on-screen rape). Did the inclusion of an A-list star in that film really make that much of a difference for audiences?
Got to watch this properly for the first time, in front of The Northman. Im still not a fan of how some of this looks very streaming show-esque, but Luhrmann doing way more interesting stuff here than I initially thought (interesting how he shot parts of it like a horror film). Don't think it'll be a standard biopic like most are expecting. This or Nope could be my movie of the summer.
