Swiss Army Man looked annoying and Dick Long was bad. But the stuff I'm hearing about the movie is getting to me. Expectations still low but I'll probably watch it this weekend if I have the time (priority for this weekend is the new Bay).
The last non-Transformers Bay hit was Pearl Harbor. Even Netflix didn't seem too impressed with how 6 Underground did. I like Bay than most but not surprised that Ambulance isn't doing well.
Noticed a lot of cinemas around me dropped RRR from the upcoming weekend's schedule. Closest cinema showing it to me this weekend is the big AMC in SF. Is the movie having big theater count drop this weekend.
Don't know if this is the right place to say this but RRR was SO GOOD. Everyone should try to watch it at least once in the cinema. A movie like this will never be made again.
Insane that Villeneuve didn't even get nominated. In the past decade Gravity, La La Land, and Fury Road got 6 wins. The former two won Best Director and the Fury Road was quite easily 2nd place.
Seems like I'm watching RRR at a later screening tonight so I guess I can actually watch most of this tonight. Will be missing the last hour or so though.
This performative nonsense actually pisses me so fucking much when these assholes booed Michael Moore 20 years ago for bringing up Bush and the Iraq War during his Oscar speech.
