I saw it tonight while waiting for the late Gemini Man in 3D HFR. I found it rather charming and funny, and I didn’t want to punch Devine once.

Yeah, I went and saw it at Disney Springs today, the Dolby was fullish and the dine ins were solid, but the regular showtimes were not remotely full, my showing had maybe 30 people in a 500+ seat theater, and the two 300+ seat theaters were about the same. and I’m seeing a lot of mostly empty showings tomorrow except for the premium formats. Is Joker getting a lot of walk up business? Because what I’ve been seeing at Disney Springs is significantly below what Halloween was doing last year. Although I suspect part of the problem is that they went a little overboard on the showtimes, it’s doing well enough but the theaters seem so empty because there’s so many showtimes.

Yeah, Disney Springs realized they screwed up, cancelled an Aladdin and a OUATIH to add two more showings of Good Boys tonight. they booked GB in an 80 seat theater, everything else in 130+ seat theaters, except Angry Birds, which got a 130 AND the giant 500+ seat auditorium.

As if the creepiness Of that review wasn’t enough, it ALSO spoils the most significant plot development in the entire movie.

Just saw H&S, loved it. hoping for legs, because I need the next one ASAP

Has anyone noticed that, according to Box Office Mojo, Avatar’s number went up too? went up 1.7 million.

I really liked Lion King. Be Prepared kinda sucked tho.

Her song isn’t bad, but Elton’s new song is terrific. He’s gonna have a tough choice come Oscar season, though I suspect he’ll lean towards the Rocketman song, since it’s more personal. The man still has it.
