Felt pretty averagish to me but I guess I needed context to many things. Also, "Baby Yoda" FTW. -

Taiwan Box Office Thread.

Excellent 4th weekend with NT$47.2mn, dropping just 37.6%. The total till Sunday was NT$456.65mn or $15.99mn. Monday hold also brilliant, just 25% down weekly. This is seriously pushing toward NT$600mn with the Christmas and New Year boost later in the run. -
The way Asian countries are back at normal without vaccine I think rest of world will too. On that note, Civil War which was said to be Avengers 2.5, did about 80% of Age of Ultron. Now 80% of Endgame is really a big number but I think 80% of Infinity War could be do-able for Thor 4. Breaking it out, 80% Domestically will mean around $540mn bit high but doable. (Civil War ratio $620mn adjusted for ER) 80% in China will mean $300mn (totally doable) may be even more. (Civil War ratio $318mn) 80% in OS-C will be $795mn. Far From Home did about $540mn while Captain Marvel did around $546mn. For $795mn, it will need roughly 40% growth + a new massive market Saudi Arabia which can $30-40mn range. (Civil War ratio $795mn not adjusted for ER, perhaps $850mn) $1635mn (Civil War ratio $1790mn) That said, let's go $1.5Bn.

@Jamiem I mean generally like piracy in India means your film is done. Almot 30-50% of business is written off, may be more. Is it same in Australia. There is no home media market in India, but I believe the country where home media market exist, piracy will be lower threat to box office. Also I have a hard time believing Australia will be even close to USA, India and China in terms of absolute traffic. There are some absolute stats for S07, Australia is way behind. https://www.statista.com/statistics/707063/game-of-thrones-piracy-countries/ But here's another in which India is way ahead of China and US. https://www.digit.in/news/entertainment/game-of-thrones-season-8-premiere-pirated-55-million-times-in-24-hours-18-of-illegal-views-originate-47570.html And the extent will be even bigger because a lot of spread of piracy is from one source who download and then share to multiple persons offline, though that must have reduced since 2016 as now everyone has like 2 GB 4G data each day.

The Mandalorian | March 2023 for S3
charlie Jatinder replied to Fullbuster's topic in Streaming, TV Series, & VOD Movies
Clone Wars going by IMDb ratings is very average in initial season, heck even in last season mid episodes seems awful but finale seems great. Should I go through 133 episodes, because I really don't have the time, or I just read the Wiki page of Ahsoka. -

Over 4 Weeks Movies Rope: I was introduced to film by a You Tuber who did a piece on one shot films. The premise intrigued me. It Kept me tied throughout the film, a bit loose in the end though. 7/10. Black: Was a kid when it released, it always looked a bit intriguing to me, but wasn't all that great. 5/10. Laxmii: Few laughs work but not my cup of tea. 2/10. Ludo: The better of the Bollywood films dumped on OTT. Take its time to get settle tho. 6/10. Super Singh: This is a local superhero film, I watched it for a fake Spider-man cameo. Wish I hadn't. 1/10. TV The Mandalorian: This is the best I am watching in last few weeks. Unlike the first season, the middle of season isn't that low. The first episode was best for me followed by a quite good third. Baby Yoda is used as well as they could have done. With 4th episode looking like first genuine big step in story, lets see how it goes. 8/10.
