I guess it will have some affect but its China. They can accommodate 3-4 big films on same date, here they are separated by 7 days. -

we didn't even see that IMO.

Its doing so bad in occupancy, that screen reduction shouldn't have that big impact. Today was 2% on 62k shows. Tomorrow there are 9k shows and occupancy can be 10% easily, so in real it will be barely 25% drop.

I doubt this. We have Whole country of Wakanda Fury Rhodey Gamora (if that counts) Captain America now or if you gonna continue with Falcon Heimdal Not heroes but characters like Monica, Fishburn.

Not few fanboys, an entire continent. Asia didn't know anything about Miles. ITSV flopped here. ITSV2 will do great that's another matter. I really really doubt it. Homecoming had to fight TASM franchise downturn, let alone a new face Miles would have done anything.

But does Feige really want a Spidey film at this moment. He did said we knew this could happen & completed Spidey arc in whatever films we had. Sony is doing Spider-man in excess. After FFH I don't have much faith in Spidey films. I loved Tom Holland, that also has gone down a bit.

Honestly speaking, I don't think having old Spideys will have same impact as having Stark in Homecoming or Hulk in Ragnarok. In first it will confuse a lot of general audience, and then comes the most important thing, to do it right. I remember FFH didn't felt like an event. It felt like feed on Endgame hype leftovers, which carried it over 1Bn.

Not something audience would have wanted. Marvel finally get their hand on S-M, glad they did Peter only. Miles is unknown outside comic book fans. ITSV did a good job setting him. Live action Miles in 6-7 years will be nice.

Shit. I really never bothered thinking about it because of seeing Zendaya and Tom off-screen all the time. It felt like yeah obviously. FFH is embarassing.

Till Tuesday $44mn. Wednesday will be $3mn Approx, excluding Australia & New Zealand, which I suppose could be $0.7mn range. -

Well apparently he is doing 1. SRK-YRF film which is said to be setting Spy Universe, wil also feature Salman. 2. Krrish 4. He may be doing triple role in the film.

I think that could be due to Ultron mixed response. Civil War & Ultron difference in Asia & Latin America wasn't much. In fact North America was very close as well but drop in Europe was very big. That along with exchange rate.

The problem I see is they are making Spider-man just for sake of it. Like MCU other solo films have now a gap of 3 years or so, S-M Sony is pushing for 2 years. In last year Producer roundtable at THR, it felt like Sony is rubbing it on the face of Disney that they will make S-M film when they want.
