  1. Wonder Woman 1984 $97,558,000 (US$3.46mn) opening weekend. Good start. Demon Slayer $8.65mn (US$300K) 8th weekend. Total now $572mn (US$20.05mn). 40% drop is quite good IMO with big release of WW84. Weekday holds should be better. Next week may see growth or flat at least. $600mn is possible. Demon Slayer Week 1: $166.19mn Week 2: $143.81mn (-13.5%) Week 3: $99.45mn (-30.8%) Week 4: $63.17mn (-36.5%) Week 5: $43.99mn (-30.4%) Week 6: $28.01mn (-36.3%) Week 7: $18.75mn (-33.1%) 8th Weekend: $8.65mn (-40%) Total: $572mn or US$20.06mn Projections Week 8: $12mn (-36%) Week 9: $13mn (+8%) Week 10: $7mn (-47%) Rest: $13mn Total: $608.4mn (US$21.35mn)
  2. Wonder Woman 1984 grossed $38.5mn internationally in first weekend. China - $18.8mn Taiwan - $3.6mn Thailand - $2mn Brazil - $1.7mn Japan - $1.6mn Mexico - $1.6mn Singapore - $1.3mn U.K. - $1.2mn Spain - $1.1mn U.A.E. - $1mn Saudi Arabia - $1mn Vietnam - $1mn
  3. Nearly all of numbers are from Asia, with Europe being barely $3mn. So don't expect big multiple. China: 19 OW - 27 Closing Rest Asia: 13 OW - 26 Closing Europe: 3 OW - 7-8 Closing Total: 35 OW - 60 Closing Next weekend Korea (4-5 OW), ANZ (4+ OW), India (1 OW) opening. They should close at 20 ish. Then Russia should do 5-10. That's it. 90-100 ish before European markets open and excluding Latin America. $150mn WW will take some doing, though should be able to do.
  4. So WW84 is a theatrical disaster. How are people around you interested in getting this thing on HBO Max?

  6. 42k T-2 days PS for WW84. That's about 20% of Captain Marvel. Guess we can expect 700k weekend admits, roughly $5mn gross.
  7. ¥30mn Sunday. ¥122mn Approx weekend. PS for tomorrow looks awful. ¥180mn full run.
  8. Seriously. Lemme look. Checked. Only 720p HDRip. Quality is low per comments.
  9. Very average pre-sales for Wonder Woman 1984 in India, lagging behind TENET. Few months back, was thinking a good increase on original but now with HBO Max release 2 days after theatrical release and dull awareness, will struggle to match the opening of original. Opening day of DCEU films in India Birds Of Prey - ₹0.8cr Shazam - ₹3.6cr Aquaman - ₹6.94cr (₹2.6cr Previews) Justice League - ₹7.7cr Wonder Woman - ₹3cr Batman V Superman - ₹10.94cr (₹5.8cr Previews)
  10. The Eight Hundred till 17th December 2020 China - $452.55mn Hong Kong - $0.44mn North America - $0.37mn Australia - $0.25mn Singapore and Malaysia - $0.4mn Korea - $0.09mn Middle East - $0.08mn New Zealand - $0.06mn Europe - $0.05mn Total - $454.3mn

  12. 27mn is done by Saturday excluding LATAM. 40mn is the floor IMO.
  13. One can They got 200mn people paying them $10 per month. Presently they are only one with no close competition near.
  14. Theaters closed @fmpro? Massive drop for everything. Retfærdighedens ryttere only 15k admits taking its total to 455k.
  15. And IIRC the Saturday was less than Friday which shows how fans of local cast would have watched it on opening day and then it crapped itself in legs.
  16. I might that would explain the poor VFX and look of film very well Also, IDK who said here, may be it was Firedeep, he said its propoganda film of Fire department, so may be think of it as $100mn promotional budget 😛
  17. I think presence of Chinese cast would have helped the film a lot in China and South Eastern markets. Will see how the numbers compare in Middle East as that's only place where it can be compared as a neutral ground.
  18. There are at least 100mn MCU hardcore fans out there, so not a worry. First F4 came when Superheroes were just USA and West thing. Who even know about F4 of 2015. You can make a case that F4 are very lesser known outside USA, so MCU will have to make a nothing property do well, which is what they have been doing so far.
  19. Naa, I will only get weekend numbers. Also WB won't report till Sunday in USA.
  20. The story had chance to work really well. I guess you have seen it? It did very well in Japan. Ran for like 10-11 months there in limited release, and have random screenings every now and then.
