Dumbledore was recasted (well circumstances was different) in 3rd film and now Grindelwald in 3rd film. Balance.

Yeah 500mn is something I was hoping for. Will be HUGE. No. 17th of all time. Highest grossing non-English overseas film is Along with the Gods (2017) at 513mn.

Will expect bigger 3rd weekend drop than 33%. Perhaps around 40-50%.

IIRC Frozen 2 was very ordinary in weekdays across world. Weekend jumps were huge.

That won't give the real idea of how big the gross in China was in real terms but help in escaping the exchange rate difference. The usual ¥~NT$4.1-4.4, so a Weathering With You's 1.74x is around 7-8 times Taiwan in China. Of course best way is to do admits comparison, but data ain't fully available.
