I think this has more hype than any of those, other than Panther in some markets but Australia doesn't have a big black population so that movie not blowing up in Australia is expected. Though it would be interesting if we could filter out trailer views by country if there was indeed some strange reason why Australia would have less hype for this movie than every other territory. Anyway, I don't see why Matrix and Spidey can't coexist in Christmas. NWH trailer destroys the trailers for all the other films and even beats the actual releases of all the other movies and of the PS4 game.

Didn't Rogue One have really big reshoots and ended up being a smash hit? Plus we already knew they were doing major reshoots, so I don't quite understand the surprise here when the only new info is just details.

I liked FATWS more than the other 2 despite it being lower in initial hype for me. For the shows, WhatIf is actually my bar, and I actually expect Hawkeye will surpass it. SC/Eternals are tougher and I expect Hawkeye will land below those in my 2021 list.

Yeah this was bottom of the hype list for me but the Christmas theme and style look neat, and importantly will make it a nice "hit" (as well as we can define one for these D+ shows). Perfect timing to distract from Eternals reception.

I wonder if there was some late decision (for whatever reason) to avoid showing SW stuff? It just is weird that Disney would just forget about one of their top franchises.

USA and Australia usually have a solid correlation, I would be shocked if No Way Home doesn't blow up here. If FFH can do 2.6m admits, no reason that NWH can't get 3.5m+ imo.

I don't think you're in the minority "here" if you mean on this forum. In fact people on here seem to have had a lot more of a positive reaction than the general public.

Now wondering what trailer views/likes should be. Checked using Wayback Machine and Mando settled just over 410k likes pre-release. I think Kenobi should easily outdo that considering that it comes with more pre-release hype (not saying it will actually be bigger than Mando which broke out even further with Grogu).

Did they give critics all the episodes this time? Because otherwise it feels weird to hear such claims. For this show what the trailer promised is a fun light Christmas show kinda similar in tone to the Ant-Man movies, so that's what I'm expecting.

But a trailer gets more views and publicity than any of those. I think it would be foolish not to release a second one.

Yeah, when I watched it, it felt like a slightly messier version but still a lot of fun. I didn't quite understand why people drew the line at certain parts in the second and not the first.

Heh, I wasn't too interested in this despite really enjoying the first two (yes even the second was fun for me), but hopefully it is indeed very good.
