  1. I'm gonna be honest, I forgot that it was even releasing in theaters since I have no plans on going.
  2. Most would be hard, but I think that "Top Gun"/Rex and R2 arc that was planned would be a good candidate.
  3. Animation looks absolutely stunning. This may have just rocketed up to my most anticipated Star Wars content.
  4. Wasn't watching the event. Is it true that there will be a "crossover event" between Ahsoka, Rangers, and Mando?
  5. Is there any possibility that many people are just waiting to pirate it a week later? I didn't expect huge growth but this seems very low.
  6. That is one of my most consistent gripes with the series as a whole, though it's pretty minor. I still don't understand how those tracking fobs are supposed to work. My best guess is they might be tracking the midichlorian count, but that seems like something that would've been used quite a bit more by the Empire if it was possible.
  7. It would be weird to keep getting the same actors (as opposed to an occasional recast) if it's not Spiderverse. I hope not. I would rather not see this so early. Same actors but different characters is possible, but seems unnecessarily confusing to have every single character be the same actor if that was the case. Really hope this isn't some kind of meddling by Sony. This is very risky and doesn't seem like a natural continuation of FFH. Has the potential to be a gigantic quagmire.
  8. Everyone is supposed to be getting the vaccine. So how would it be experimenting on black people? Those events don't excuse idiotic behavior.
  9. That argument is basically saying "if all we saw was the beginning of the character arc, people wouldn't be fans." Which is to be expected in the case of a character whose character arc is about maturing and learning patience/humility/uncertainty. I don't think Ahsoka is afforded any more focus than actual TV leads (Ahsoka doesn't really qualify since there were so many TCW episodes where she wasn't even present), many of whom are not the standout characters of their shows.
  10. There are plenty of main characters in TV shows that don't get the overwhelmingly positive reception of Ahsoka. She stole the show because people connected with the character.
  11. Another solid episode although I felt it was too short. There was no need to put this much story into only 30 minutes. Some of the beats flew by too quickly. Still, was pretty entertaining.
  12. There was no vaccine distribution timeline for Tenet and others. Depending on how things go Disney might rather give Black Widow one final delay than dump it on Premier Access.
  13. If possible, I think many people will want to get out of the house. I know I will. So I think they will wait and see how things go with vaccine distribution. There's no pressure to make a decision now.
  14. As good as Rosario Dawson was, Ashley Eckstein will be forever the definitive Ahsoka Tano.
  15. Yes, this season definitely has had that formula. But it makes sense as we are currently in a "quest" phase of the narrative.
  16. This was a good episode, best of the season. I don't necessarily agree that it was the best episode of the series so far, I think "Redemption" was definitely better and one could make a case for a couple of others as well. But this was a lot of fun and definitely delivered on anticipation.
  17. Well, by definition that episode can't come out today. It was the first one, and it did everything an intro episode should do well. Established the tone immediately, quickly immersed the viewer in the world, introduced several important characters, had a couple of excellent action sequences, ended with a tantalizing hook -- and did so with very efficient pacing. I think it's still one of the best-made episodes in the series so far.
  18. If you don't have time then I'd say just go into the episode blind. The Mandalorian will give you everything you need to know. I don't really suggest watching partial episodes as (imo) the full experience of TCW is much better, watching the whole series gives a sense of scale which you don't get from a partial watch.
