  1. I see your point, it's probably just underperforming in NY for whatever reason. But for AMC as a whole I think it may be possible they are doing less business than usual due to low show count.
  2. I think AMC just missed the boat on this one and didn't give it enough shows, and are losing people to other chains. Especially with both Porthos and Inceptionzq showing pretty strong numbers for previews.
  3. Passed T-10 TLK's OD sales (and D2 and D3 are now about 50% ahead of TLK's T-10 numbers). I wonder if Cinemark is actually taking away business from AMC.
  4. Depends on what the captcha is. If it's the same every time then yes.
  5. Selenium won't look like a DDoS as it's too slow (literally just an automated browser) to cause huge strain on the server. But I'm going to try to resolve this myself before trying that route. In any case having AMC/Cinemark data from keyser is already quite good.
  6. Hmm I will take a look at that. Although it is beyond my current programming skills but it might be an interesting project to learn. For now I will attempt to use Splash and if that fails then I will try to reduce to a representative sample.
  7. @keysersoze123 I am looking at doing the rest of Fandango theaters (non Cinemark and AMC). But the runtime is still very slow (7 seconds per show) so it would take like 15+ hours to run just for F2. Perhaps tracking only Regal would be more practical (although still quite slow).
  8. Yeah a lot of people give shit to the second one but I really enjoyed both, probably the second even more so than the first
  9. Selenium for me, I think Keyser does something else though.
  10. I do count shows, I got 3120 and 2399 which is a little odd discrepancy but not a big deal.
  11. For Black Friday at Cinemark F2 is at 8018/409851 which is quite strong, in just 218 theaters too. For Thanksgiving it's at 8985/524946 again really strong in 259 theaters. But combined these two plus other days are probably only adding maybe 20% to the total, so I don't think it fully explains the Fandango report.
  12. Too early. Based on Cinemark would be quite possible but we need to see a ramp up at AMC.
  13. Yeah I'm running this rn. It's nowhere near as extreme as second biggest day or anything like that but Thanksgiving and Black Friday are doing strong business.
  14. That's because it's selling like crazy on Friday, Saturday, and presumably beyond. By T-10 Saturday will likely be 30-40% ahead of TLK at Cinemark.
  15. This is what I would expect from the Cinemark data, but not necessarily from the AMC data.
  16. Wtf? That show count is way below Cinemark which is quite abnormal. Do you have show counts for Friday and Saturday
  17. Not basically, it is, and by a decent margin. And Friday isn't too far off either.
