  1. You mean after 3rd week right This is from Mojo numbers because im too lazy to read confirmed number on this thread on early page. Frozen 1 Weekend 1 7.5m + 2.2 Friday Weekdays 1 11.3m, Weekend 2 8.5m Weekdays 2 11.5m, Weekend 3 8.5m Weekdays 3 15.3m, Weekend 4 8.2m Weekdays 4 7.4m In its 4th weekdays its first time it dropped but must be because spring break already ends at that week.
  2. Yup i remembered back then comparison start from Tangled to Monster University to TS3 and Finding Nemo to Avatar to Howl's Moving Castle and finally last boss Spirited Away. For me Golden Week was the most enjoyable moment of OS box office tracking, I mean what movie in its 8th weekend on OS market can gross $11m. Also that disappointment when DVD/Bluray release haha
  3. First Frozen 1 (2 day) weekend number you mean ? From 142th page of this Japan OS thread : Frozen captures the top spot at the box-office this weekend, taking in a mighty ¥763,389,450 ($7.5 million) with 602,347 admissions on 598 screens. And its 3-day total reached ¥986 million ($9.7 million) with a boosted (Toho Cinemas discount day) Friday opening. P.S : for anyone who has time and maybe wants to experience Frozen 1 magic and craziness just read on page 137-350 of this thread
  4. From edroger3 post in previous page : F1 REAL F2 EST/REAL ADM (K) USD (K) ADM (K) USD (K) TOT 1.273 15.015 1.843 22.582 FRI 244 2.170 227 2.782 SAT 290 3.619 600 7.346 SUN 319 3.941 626 7.669 MON 99 1.243 145 1.781 TUE 107 1.348 91 1.120 WED 214 2.694 154 1.883
  5. If I remembered correctly Frozen 1 seat total never drop massively each weekend, probably only 10%-20% max until June. Back then it also rose on golden week but still have very good saturation. Frozen 2 seats count only drop 9.1% though, it still has more than TS4 1st weekend. More than enough for this weekend.
  6. I think this weekend also will be Frozen 2 last weekend to stay on top of Frozen 1 weekend. It's weekdays gap also will only get bigger each week with Frozen 1 basically won't drop until after golden week. Winter school holidays should help Frozen 2 in late legs.
  7. Frozen 2 only losing 9.1% of total seats count on Friday compared to last week. Interesting weekend to see how good it's weekend drop. 1-December this year on Sunday should help too.
  8. So far from Mimorin number until first Wednesday vs TS4 : Frozen 2 1.329.682 admission TS4 1.408.122 admission TS4 had first monday holiday advantage. Thursday number will be close, Frozen 2 should surpass TS4 again with better Fri-Sun total admission. TS4 had summer weekdays from second week until August though, so interesting too see how much Frozen 2 can keep it's lead from TS4. Winter school holidays will help Frozen 2 to balance it on 5th week - 7th week.
  9. 2.137m adm first week for F2, 158k adm for Mon-Tue. With weekend avg tix : $1.14m Mon-Tue
  10. yesterday was 65.760, today 110k. 110.800/65.760 = 68.4% increase
  11. Its very impressive if we compare with other movies, for comparison TS4 used to increase around 20-45 on Wednesday and lastly when i tracked for Joker in around 30-40% increase. Frozen 1 used to increase 100% back then if i remembered right. Primarily because its target demographic, Frozen should be expected to increase more than normal movies suggest.
  12. It will be 67-69% increase for today, a bit worse than afternoon number increase suggest. At 3pm it actually +73% of yesterday and doing a bit worse at evening.
  13. With this nearly double yesterday increase each 20 minutes on Mimorin, i think 70% increase over yesterday already safe, lets try to aim 80% increase. Mimorin update in average each 23 minutes. It still have 4 hours 45 minutes (285 minutes) until 9.30pm local time. So divide 285 / 23, we get 12.39. Today projection: 12.39 x 3450 = 42745 + 76515 (4.45pm, latest number) = 119.260 ( 81.3% increase over yesterday) edit : Yeah it slowed down a bit, probably 70-75% increase then.
  14. I just notice that today in usual location TS4 first Tuesday actually has more admission than Frozen 2 by 4k. TS4 then increase by 26% on Wednesday, Frozen 2 should has better increase on Wednesday though.
  15. Date Day Est Admission Gross 22-Nov Friday. 242.430. $2.97m 23-Nov Saturday. 618.327. $7.61m 24-Nov Sunday. 591.674. $7.29m 25-Nov Monday. 154.609. $1.9m 26-Nov Tuesday. 97.707. $1.2m Est. Total so far $20.9m, 1.704m admission From weekend actual, we get that in Friday last week usual location took around 67% of total admission and Sat-Sun took around 73% of total admission. For weekdays I will use 67%.
  16. holiday ? Wednesday in Japan cinema is a ladies day, so there is some discount for women. Frozen with its demographic should benefits much more than usual movies tomorrow. Its always reflected back then in Frozen 1 run. We'll see how much it increase tomorrow, for some example TS4 increase on avg around 30-50% on its Wednesday . Frozen 2 should aim much bigger imo like >70% maybe.
  17. Yup, i actually want to post this in Japan OS thread but afraid that i'm wrong or think like i'm pessimistic of its Japan's run. Before 2pm local time its Tuesday actually only 45% of its Monday and currently recovering to around 55% of its Monday. Then with how much it increase each 20 minutes, I predict it will get into 60-65% of Monday. Certainly lower than i predicted yesterday. For some example Joker usually do around 75-80% of its Monday, Mal2 also same percentage and i just looked TS4 also made 73% of its Monday. Your assumption probably accurate though because Frozen 1 usually increase bigger than normally on Wednesday.
  18. Japan had 15m weekend, and still too early to predict it. With its weekdays in Maoyan if its confirmed i dont think it will pass $100m on China.
  19. 0.5m pounds https://www.insidekino.de/BO/GB2019.htm
  20. With this actual avg tix for friday and weekend is ¥1335 or $12.28. Usual location took around 67% of whole market on friday and 73% on weekend.
