  2. Massive overestimation by Paramount. Friday, Saturday and Sunday all went down from estimate. 1 N Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Paramount Pi… $37,205,784 3,855 $9,651 $37,205,784 1
  3. So people are freaking out over weaker 1st day of the presale cycle? If avatar 2 and PIB2 offer any lesson, even a full OW can't really seal a deal yet.
  4. But Berlin's plot actually draw the most intense-reaction in my theater hall for the Cantonese's curse. The curse was brutal that even the English subtitle seem to downplay the intensity of the curse.
  5. Tbh, I am quite disappointed by DnD's failure to $40m especially that $4.1m preview. That IM from preview doesn't look like any special WOM sensation despite 93% verified audience score. But somehow it is hard blame Paramount since that $150m is a reasonable spending after seeing the casting choice and production and Paramount did try to push the good product they know they have in their hand. Sadly, the audience base just isn't big enough.
  6. Disappointing true Friday for DnD, not even $10m. And this is not compensated by the great result from the holdovers either.
  7. Another worthy comparison is TLC, with EA the total preview was $3.25m ($2.5m preview + $0.75m EA) to $30,5m OW.
  8. BOM updated the number international total to $66.6m, does that mean the WW opening is now $140.4m?
  9. Will Cesar Day boost Friday sale a bit especially for California-based cinema?

  11. The advanced screenings seem only bring forward the demand, instead of boosting the buzz of the movie.
  12. Which country is still pending their release? I am surprised by lower overseas opening than domestic.
