yeah I think a 7/10 is about right for now, like a B or B+ depending on how I feel. hopefully you will just have fun with it. but I am sure at the very least all the references to the other films will give you a grin

Yeah most people didn't seem too sure, but when they realized it was Creed especially when Stallone showed up, everyone seemed to pay attention then. I even heard someone talk about once they saw the red, white and blue trunks, they were hooked I didn't do a full review just yet. I'm at work so hopefully I have some more free time for full thought. But overall, I liked it. It was fun. It's definitely has some more lighthearted moments than the others. But I thought the humor worked. There was one really out of place scene that was funny, but still kind of out there overall, they setup of the beginning was good, I thought Arnold and Emilia were good. The Jai guy was ok, but just didn't seem to fit exactly right. I don't think he was awful, just kind of there. Obviously I can't give away too much here, but I hope to do the in depth review later Yes I know this isn't the Terminator thread, I was just replying to baumer's question

I had the trailer in front of Terminator last night and besides these 4 kids that laughed at everything the whole night, it seemed to get a good reaction.

Not really looking to this since the other two weren't that good and basically the same, but I always give the series a chance so hopefully I like this one more

^^ the first two reviews are almost exactly what I was going to write. It has its moments, but never fully came together. I did like the nerd fight It's definitely not as good as the first, but still ok in spots B

nah, the first one is much better. This one had moments but that's about it

while Trainwreck looks like one to me and yes, anecdotal, in the at least 5 times i have seen the trailer in the theater, there have been zero laughs from the crowds, I still think it will do pretty well financially.

I saw the episode earlier this week and it was to nice how they showed Vader as the badass we all know and how fearful people are of him especially, other than Ashoka, no one knows who he really is

I never got past part 1 I always kind of wanted to but I heard part 2 wasn't great so I never bothered to really try. I like the concept of the whole thing, but they really took me out of the movie in part one when they . I really couldn't get back into the mood of the movie again after that.

I think Scream 4 biggest issues were it tried too hard and also went completely to the comedic side. Obviously, the movies are all self aware and somewhat funny, but part 4 just went off the rails with those concepts. Just the opening sequence proved that. Overall, it is still pretty good though and better than part 3. Of course I love the reveal and all. however, I would like to see them try again and I don't mean with the tv series that didn't look too good from the trailer. As for the Halloween movie concept, I will give it a try. I am always a sucker for that series so if it sucks, I am prepared

Yeah I just heard about this driving into work this morning. Sad news. I loved his work in so many movies from Aliens, Glory, of course Titanic. big loss to the industry and to me as well. RIP

Yeah I just found out last week that a theater near me, that I have been going to for years, has discount Tuesday. They don't advertise it and may be new, but it was just weird to see.

well the prevailing theories the industry believes and to an extent, are correct, are people are doing so much other stuff during the holidays, from traveling, to shopping, to decorating, etc, etc, that less people are spending money or their time on movies. now like you and others have said, if you stick a major tentpole and good movie there, all those reasons could be destroyed this is why so many are interested to see what SW does. Not just the obvious reasons, but to see if it bucks the "December trend"
