Wasn't terrible, but wasn't good either. It's basically a worse Van Helsing for me.
The main two actors were fine, but there still wasn't much there. The twist was as clear as can be and was given away in the opening scenes of the movie. The white witch was pretty useless as well.
It had a few moments, but that was about it.
C+
Yeah I am with baumer, it was ok, but nothing special. There was just something missing, it just seemed too generic for me as well.
I would give it like a B-/C+ which it could have been much worse, but there were enough moments to keep it fun enough.
Very enjoyable movie. Funny, and like said before, great soundtrack. It was also funny how all the kids/teenagers thought they were so smart when they realized it was Romeo and Juliet. You think they just realized the sky was blue :PAs for the movie, I give it a B+
I bet it was awesome. I have the graphic novel so I know what is going to happen, but can't wait to see it in motion.Glad you enjoyed it. It makes me want to watch it even more.
Got that right. At this point, I just hope the Evil Dead remake is actually good and it's not just a good trailer or else this year of horror could get really ugly
You are right. I meant opening well.It seems they know we want horror films so they stick the crappiest ones in January just to get the OW grosses.Insulting is a pretty apt word for the feces we have been getting
It's not just you. I have been saying it, as well, for a while. While horror is doing well financiallly so far this year, the movies themselves are horrible.
