Would appreciate some numbers from Jat or another trustworthy source. Early Deadline is wonky as hell. If opening week over 80 mil, I'm doomed in the club.

Spiderverse and Mario will both have a substantial adult audience, which makes opening a "pure kids movie" vs. them even more difficult. -

April is excellent. Mario, Evil Dead Rise, Renfield...a lot of interesting product. Better than last year.

There's a small chance Wick 4 still goes around 75 mil OW AND Shazam 2 manages to go over 80 mil. It seems much more likely Wick 4 will breakout given these early results and fan reception and I will be slain and impaled and hung from my own intestines in the Shazam 2 club, but I want to go down fighting.

8.9 is quite high and pretty close to what Charlie said. Expect weekend will be even higher following the Avatar Rule for longer movies. Will it kill me in the Shazam club? Not sure.

95% on RT, 8.5 on IMDB. Extremely difficult but not actually beyond imagination IMO, esp. if it opens to 89 mil (yes that's an insane overperformance). Also I can't get it out of my head that the long runtime means this will be a "weekend movie" like Avatar and that will bend the gross to make it slightly slower but longer. I think it's the only R rated action movie that will be out for some time.

Momoa as Lobo would be a waste. Most people don't give a crap about Lobo and all the "Shazam=C lister" stuff is about a hundred times worse with Lobo.
