  1. Is Skydance particularly likely to get Paramount? There are claims that Skydance is "underpaying" but it's a pretty big chunk of debt for a lot of declining assets (linear networks) to go with the juicier IPs.
  2. The "underperformance" stuff still appeared after OW on the idea that it would basically reach 60 mil and then die.
  3. It's just curiosity based on how much people claim it's an "overperformance" or "underperformance".
  4. What is the chance of Civil War managing to hit 100 mil?
  5. 99 percent of celebrity voice castings are a waste and don't get me interested in the movie. .... This is one of the 1 percent exceptions.
  6. DA everyone in this country watch DEATH OF DECADENT WESTERN EMPIRE OF WOKE RESEARCHES. Please make sequel with Steven Seagal.
  7. Anyway they can "Armond White" Grace off RT? Really getting sick of hearing her inane overheated garbage.
  8. Really skeptical that Frozen Empire will actually be profitable with those stats.
  9. Are the IMAX screens split 3 ways on Friday with Spy Family, Dune reissue and Civil War? Seems confusing.
  10. It's not that far past MLB opening day though, I don't think those were the most expensive games they chose slots in.
  11. In theory you MIGHT be able to get decent prices on NFL games early in the season if you wanted to put an ambitious film in September, but that's a very niche approach (Beetlejuice 2 possibly?). The Monkey Man slot basically guaranteed the film would never make a profit. I would just as soon skip the Super Bowl entirely.
  12. King of the Monsters but that's because I want Ghidorah and Rodan back in a future installment.
  13. I've reached the point where I think sports events ad slots are extremely overpriced for what they grant and should be avoided. There's a possible exception for WWE (and ONLY WWE, AEW can screw off) wrestling slots, but even those are probably elevated beyond what they should be and film companies should look at alternatives.
  14. What did Universal buy an ad for? I don't think it was Fall Guy, whatever it was.
  15. Unless if the actual is a lot lower than 25.7 mil I find that writing it as "25 mil" is misleading.
  16. Don't know why Variety reported it as "25 million". This effectively rounds to 26 million.
  17. Don't care about any of that. What's its Saturday stat look like?
  18. Do we know what Civil War's actual IMAX percentage was? Dune's was impressive but Godzilla x Kong was not too high.
