  1. Joker will do over $350m I think, maybe $400m.
  2. It looks like Dune is keeping some big true IMAXes like Lincoln Square when Ghostbusters opens, like how Oppenheimer kept the biggest IMAXes when Blue Beetle opened.
  3. $300m DOM is a possibility. Also, people saying Dune would make $100m OW were still closer than you who said it would make $65m OW despite no trackers corroborating that.
  4. KFP4 is headed for $200m at this point. Great -43% drop for Dune as well. March headed for $700m+ for sure.
  5. Dune 2 would have certainly competed with Oppenheimer and possibly prevented it from clean sweeping if it released in it's original date. It released a lot closer to Oscar season than Oppy. I think it would have taken tech categories for sure, even though Oppy probably would still take Picture/Director.
  6. So far 0/3 reviews are positive https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/imaginary/reviews?intcmp=rt-scorecard_tomatometer-reviews
  7. That would be a 27% drop excluding previews Even Barbie/Oppenheimer drop in the 35% range when excluding previews.
  8. Dune would need to make ≈2.7x it's first week to reach $300m. There are 121 films which have had a first week above $100m, of which only 6 have made >2.7x their first weeks. They are Jungle Book (2.79x), Wonder Woman (2.79x), Inception (2.92x), Avatar 2 (3.46x), Top Gun 2 (3.50x), and Avatar (5.47x) So 300m seems tough, and would need to follow Wonder Woman/Inception trajectory for that. But I think $260m-$280m is very much in play. Same first week/DOM ratio as Oppenheimer would put it at $284m. Joker $268m.
  9. Same jumps as The Batman would project to a $51m weekend. Creed 3 projects to $53m weekend.
  10. Likely a typo from the Numbers then. I can't see the revised estimates be off by that much.
