  1. Maybe, but BO is extremely unpredictable. everyone thought MJP1 would crown 2014. and American Sniper came out of Nowhere. and there were surprises like GOTG and The Lego Movie really breaking out. SW EPVIII and Beauty and the Beast is reason alone for me to look forward to 2017 more then 2016.

  3. Actually I was counting the other night and I think 18 major action sequences in marvel studios films took place at night. and every major action sequence in MoS is actually in during the day. there is a lot of Night time battles in BvS though.
  4. Having to wait a week after most audiences has seen Civil War is torture. And It's ridiculous to release movies six months apart in different territories, though. it seems like the hype would be gone and lots of people would get bootlegged anyway, they really should try and limit how long you are able to release a film apart in different countries. like maybe a mouth.
  5. Hey guys. the countdown is coming soon, but I will be very busy with school for at least a few days so probably won't start it until this weekend at the earliest. and while the thread is closed to submissions technically. I will accept PMed lists. but please no more editing for previously submitted lists as I already have most of the scoring done.
  6. What about SW8, BatB and GOTG2? like the most awesome movies of the year.. .and Dunkirk and Wonder Woman and War of the Planet of the Apes and annihilation.
  7. I don't know if I'm just masochistic or what, but I still have hope for the solo DC films. (although JL is pretty much dead to me) we still haven't seen one that Hack boy hasn't directed yet. I think Wonder Woman will be good, everything I've seen from it looks like they are sticking pretty close to the origin story which gives me hope, and as I've said I really like James Wan and I love Aquaman. as for this director stuff. it's not like we knew I don't even know is name lol. so maybe him leaving is a good thing, maybe they can get Matthew Vaughn to direct it or something.
  8. I honestly don't think it will drop that much, it ended on way too much of a cliffhanger, we are craving to actually see Luke this time, and even people who hated TFA will probably check it out at least once. and the timing is pretty much perfect too. Even if it did gross like $300m less they would still be swimming in money, just give me a good movie.
  9. So I was doing so calculations and it looks like 8 out of the top 10 highest grossing films of the 2010s will be released by Disney.
