I wonder if this should be looked at as a sequel to Ultron BO wise if it was an Avengers sequel released only a year after Ultron, considering it's middling WoM an OW in the $175-$185m would seem pretty logical. I agree with you, though, this movie was unbelievably amazing and deserves way more than BvS because it's so much better quality of film. Either way, it's bigger than that, and there is no way in hell it's getting BvS's 2.0 multiplier.

TDK is not a true Superhero movie, it's well made for the most part. but I find it incredibly pretentious for trying to avoid be associated with SH films like there is some kind of stigma surrounding them. and it has awful action scenes, Bale has almost no range as Bruce Wayne, and it's pretty much a joker film. I thought Ben Affleck was way better as Bruce, and well BvS wasn't even very good. but yeah it's also pretty much responsible for ruining MoS and the DCEU so far. Civil War deals with serious themes, while still remembering that is in fact a Superhero film and comic book movie. it has ground-breaking action scenes, well development characters with clear motivations, excellent performances, and almost everything works despite them having to deal with like 10 characters. I know my opinion is not what the masses think, but it will never change on this. so let me have it. P.S I am not a big Batman fan and never have been so why would I love it so much?

No sorry, It's Called Captain America. it's his movie, and that's what audiences see when they look at it the title. Outside of geek culture at least. Terrence Howard was paid more for IM than RDJ. was it an Rhodes movie? I don't think so. and Chris Evans has a significantly larger role than RDJ and every character in the film and he's pretty much the center of the entire story so yeah, it's a Captain America movie, he just happens to hang out with lots of avengers.

I was at $185m OW until all the insane hype. and near universal acclaim it was receiving. should have stuck with my gut feeling after the first trailer that it was a smaller scale more personal Captain America film and would perform as such.. I still think it will hit $180m ow and well over $400m when all is said and done though.

Yeah, I was surprised with Zemo, Jon Campea in his review said how weak he was as a villain and how is motivations didn't make since, and I felt the complete opposite, he was one of the best MCU villains yet imo, that final scene with Blank Panther was Daniel Bruhl, gave an excellent performance. and shame on anyone who didn't think Ant-Man should be in it, who cares if his reasons for joining the fight were a little vague, he was responsible for one of the best action scenes in movie history! -

Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Kalo replied to Plain Old Tele's topic in Review That Movie! (Spoilers Allowed)
Civil War is love Civil War is life. Spider-Man = Black Panther = And is it just me or do I get the feeling Captain America is going to be in Black Panter? Also coming from someone who was tired of Tony/Iron Man. RDJ gave the best performance for Tony to date, we actually see an angry hurt side to him that we haven't seen before, I'm actually interested in his character again. not gonna lie was really hoping Rhodes would die, he is such a throwaway character. I'm not going to call it my favorite Superhero film just yet.. (yes ever not just MCU) just because I need time process it, but I'd say the odds are incredibly likely. I did have a couple problems with it though I didn't dig the fight in the beginning to shaky and felt off. I wish that bucky felt a little more sympathetic, I wished Sebstained would have conveyed a bit more remorse for his actions. the kiss was really throw in there, not development enough of a romance for that. wish that Captain America gave the speech that Sharon gave at the funeral. Other than that it was pure bliss. I loved Black Panther soo much, I just love him super excited for his movie. loved the Vision/Wanda side story is was so great. That fight scene, at the airport like I usually get bugged with humor in action, but it worked perfectly. and Ant-Man or should I say Giant man! oh man! and the ESB reference gosh omg of that scene. plus by far the most personal gut wrenching and best final battle scene ever in The MCU. -

I have a feeling the absence of "Pirates" for so many years, plus Orlando Bloom being back will actually help the film, I think it will do over $200m -

I generally agree with most of your list but, you think Wonder Woman will gross less than $120m?
