No fucking way it opens that high or gets a near 5 multi. One or the other. Hunger Games didn't even go that high in 2012 and that had cross gender buzz, while Sex and the City 2 barely topped that just before the last works cup. £3m needs to be the target, that beats Twilight. From there, WoM will take it wherever it needs to go.
That was awesome!, really good, I liked it, Not bad, I've had a worse time, there were some good bits, meh, pretty shit, FUCK THAT SHIT!, Die Hard 5, Boring.
Just got back from a 3:10 show of godzilla. It was almost full in a 180 seater. Pretty good for a 3D show these days, but I rarely go on a Saturday afternoon these days so I wouldn't know for certain ;)The whole cinema was rammed when I got there, but that's because 5 out of the 6 screens had a film starting in the space of 30 minutes.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes tickets going on sale today. Considering the overload of advance booking movies we had last year (Kick Ass 2? Seriously?) It's been pretty muted on that front so far. Really early start for Apes though.

Lots of points this week!
That Harry Potter didn't go PG-13 from Chamber of Secrets. If they'd gone darker at that point the series may not have tapered off quite so much with casual viewers so quickly as it would have been a bigger departure from the first film, presenting a new hook other than Harry being back at school again.
A couple of the Tyler Perry movies got released here, but they did very poorly (what a shock). He's just not a known entity here. More people here would recognise him from Star Trek than as Madea.
