  1. I will, just depends on what's on when at the cineworld's I may watch it, it's not much of a priority for me babe
  2. I wouldn't be surprised. WoM is very good
  3. I'm in an odd position this weekend. My other half is working on a short film on Sunday and Monday, and I'm going up to London with her. While she's working I'm on my own, armed only with a Cineworld Unlimited Card. What the hell do I go and see, and beyond the O2, where on earth should I go?!
  4. But it's just full of unlikable characters, really awkward situations in general (I understand that is the point though), and the worst, most gratuitous sex scene I've seen in any film. I understand what LVT was going for, but as a Dogme 95 follow up to Festen (which was a fantastic film in its own right, regardless of whether it was Dogme 95 or not) it paled in comparison in every way.
  5. America needs to watch this, it's required viewing for practically everyone between 16-25 in the UK, and is very popular with adults beyond that age range too, as evidenced by the blockbuster level the film reached here. The film is hilarious, requires little knowledge of the series (though it's always appreciated) and is probably the most relatable film for teenage boys that I've ever seen, in the quest to go on holiday, get trashed and get laid. Love it. Roll on the sequel in August.
  6. To be fair, it was fucking shit. It took all the good from Festen's interpretation of Dogme, and shit all over it.
  7. And my interest nosedives. Jaime Lannister cannot regain my interest now
  8. I've seen ads on the underground for Calvary. It doesn't seem like it's a big deal, there's a lot of rave reviews, but it's not a mass audience film from the scale of advertising.
  9. Didn't Toy Story 3 go the whole hog and have a true opening week?
  10. Could The Raid 2 be the biggest new release next weekend? It's got a lot of hype, promotionalevents are popping up all over, And the reviews are stellar. Is there really anything else next week that can touch it?
  11. Got to agree with your last point. Considering how far tech has advanced, surely they could have de-aged the kids.
  12. On the whole, I liked the finale. Barney's arc (sans the divorce) was very satisfying, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's the dad in How I met your Dad. Marshall and Lily has been mostly played out for a few years now, but it's good to have supreme fudge. It doesn't surprise me that the mother is dead theory prevailed, but it doesn't give you much of a chance to enjoy their relationship before she's taken in the end. Finally, Robin. I saw someone make the point that they made an agreement that if they were 40 and single then they'd get together, so the ending wasn't exactly out of the realms of possibility. BUT, it does undermine the journey that Ted went through on this last season. We had him literally let go off Robin and let her float off like a balloon, and even last week he had a chance to take Robin from Barney before the wedding. Given the rest of the season, it was a little disappointing that was the route they went with. All in I preferred it to the end of Friends, but it didn't match up to the satisfaction from the endof 30 Rock.
  13. Generally a lot stronger than TDW, but has more competition than TDW which had gravity in week 2 and CF in week 4.
  14. I could go for a need for speed sequel
  15. The microphone was a great big honey roasted piece of Ham to inspire him
  16. It's price matched everywhere in the country so it really makes no difference where you buy it.
  17. You should definitely invest in one (or a PS3 like me). If you like to learn about the making of movies they're invaluable these days.
  18. I'm dreading it. What am I going to watch now?!
  19. Literally built a career out of being Sandler's friend. He's fucking annoying.
  20. A bit of Robocop and Need for Speed in my eyes so far.
  21. You won't be seeing The Other Woman man, that's certainly going to be a 15. If I don't see The Raid 2 next month I'll be pissed, and I also hope to see Spidey in D-Box.
