See I knew something bad was coming. Especially with that foreshadowing near the end of the kids driving by their house, looking like they're kind of stalking Danny and/or Derek or something. But yeah, no way that movie was gonna have a happy ending, I always had that figured out.

This thread made me realize I never have. Wow, now I'm waiting for the movie that's so awful it forces me to finally do it! But then again I have a pretty good idea of movies I wouldn't be able to stand and as such don't see them in the theater.

You know I don't feel so bad about screwing up Prom and M3 now since I realized almost all of us are in the same boat with those 2. Only a handful will get points on them. Now ROA and SWATH on the other hand, those I majorly messed up.

What would've been really cool is if it could've hit $631m which would've been more than IM1+IM2 combined. With great late legs I could actually see it getting as high as $625m, but no higher than that.

I have a feeling spots 10 and 11 will go to Mike and The Watch, essentially screwing up everyone's top 11. Still think Bourne isn't gonna do that well, or at least not enough to crack the top 11 by the Labor Day cutoff (remember it has less than a month to gross).

Not really. It's the epitome of a Father's Day film. And just look at its competition. Nothing else out says Father's Day trip to the movies, save for maybe MIB3.

What sucks is it's going great for me in the weekly and SOTM questions, but I have like no chance at winning because my top 12 is totally screwed at this point.

Yes, a bunch of the big guys at Pixar sat down around the time of TS1 and basically came up with all the ideas for all of their movies from A Bug's Life to Up. So that could very well be the problem. They've officially done all the great ideas they had. Now they're kind of aimless so to speak.

Even so it deserved more. Just as entertaining and good as the first one, and easily the only worthy summer popcorn flick released after TA. Thought WOM would be a lot hotter than it has been for it.

TA will have a sub 10% drop on Sunday I think. Perfect Father's Day movie above anything else that's out. Who knows, maybe even a small increase will happen.
