    I agree. I think it can manage a 3x multi with the WOM and that will put it right in that range. Amazing.

    With this getting great WOM and not being a frontloaded sequel I think it may actually stand a chance now. Plus it won't have strong summer weekdays, which should inflate its weekends.

    No way. Maybe a chance for its OW (even that I doubt), but THG will kill BD2's total. I can't remember who it was but some twilight fanboy basically called me a blind fanboy for saying I had a hunch 2 months ago that THG could beat BD2 domestically. Who's blind now?

    Thank you, that is my sentiment exactly. While I love Potter and I can't deny that visually and maybe even cohesively most of the films may be stronger than THG, I've never been too fond of repeat viewings of the Potter films and all except DH2 have always left me a little wanting. THG on the other hand left me totally satisfied and I'm literally chomping at the bits to see it again. There was just something about it that really worked for me.

    I didn't say there wasn't a better way it could have been shot, I just don't think it was really detracting like a lot of people seem to be making it out to be.

    Bourne Supremacy's camera work was ass. THG's was stylistic with a tendency to go slightly overboard at times.

    The THG vs Potter fanboy war is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO unnecessary drama. Noctis likes THG, the vast majority of us like Potter and THG so lets just leave it. How about we all list things we hate about Twatlight instead?

    Yep. Love THG and love Potter and I know for a fact Noctis does too. Now obviously if you ask him to pick one you know what he'll chose, but most of us Potter fans are THG fans, and vice versa. Twilight on the other hand....

    Don't get too pumped though. TDKR is likely the only thing this year to top this OW. Even TA is a longshot now to beat it.

    I know this just sounds greedy at this point because this is just more than I could've ever dreamed it would do, but it would've been so freakin epic if it could've picked up an extra 10m along the way and made a run for DH2 and the all time record.

    That is possible too. We can't forget this is Nikki we're dealing with and more often than not she overestimates not under. That being said, she's consistently underestimated this movie including last night, so hopefully that pattern will continue.
