An ok post except the delusion part! I'm a thinking man and have thinking man reasons for this. As of now posting on my phone I'm in no state to do a writeup in the Avatar thread. No one will respect my foresight if they percieve my predictions as blind delusions with no thought behind them other than JAMES CAMERON. Since your standard of "OK" is 2.78b to 3b, I take it as a huge compliment.

I think admins should replace the "etc." in the thread title with "IronJimbo", considering the amount of the contribution IronJimbo did (for good or bad) to this fanboy-war thread. Notice that it's no longer "Franchise war"? Since it's "Fanboy war" now, it makes perfect sense that we honor one of the biggest fanboys on BOT and the biggest defending force of the Cameron-related subject which itself is one of the most popular topics on BOT.

Please don't use confusing language you'll lead new users astray. Avatar is the box office champion of the world, TFA is a regional champion. Hey at least it's still more humble than NFL's World Champion.

That entire plot that you are complaining about was all part of the risk. They could have used a safer plot or re-worked the same plot to play out in a safer way. I can't say much more because I don't want to get into spoilers, but those were part of the risks that were taken. This is really funny. Now I do wonder what is these pissed-off hardcore fans opinion on TFA. Is that a cheerful reboot, or a complete ANH-wannabe crap. (Yeah we know there's no middle ground for hardcore fans.) Their being pissed off would actually make sense if it was the latter.
